It just reminds me of the way i used to approach roulette like i had found some magic formula that works for all roulette scenarios.
I've done far better once i left the magic world of turbogenius roulette systems to actin on very recent information.
Like in chess, pushing a pawn or controlling the centre may be fundamentally correct actions....but not in the particular position you see before you. I am starting to realise the similarities between chess and roulette
The current position you see on the maque denotes how you play.
Static systems like this don't let you afapt to the changing position
Hope that explains where i am at

I have made it my business to only plat systems  by bonafide gambling authors  like  Frank Scoblete , Brett Morton, or John Patrick.

I have never played any  method   posted at any forum.

Tamino

There was never any successful method in these books but i guess its a pretty safe bet that these gentleman made some money at least from the sales.  And some methods from these books were posted on various forums.  ;D

WHO said   anything about  successful methods? .

There  NEVER   was and there NEVER  nill be  a pepetual winning system.

Those  systems    in their books  are  the best in opinion  of the  author and it is  up to each individual to decide which ones to play.

The books do not  come  with a NANNY to tell us when to get away from the  table. That`s expecting a bit too much.

Just like   here  some people  expect a proposed  system to be  spoon fed to them. No difference.

My point was that these books are not better or worse than anything posted here or on other forums. Nobody should expect to find a complete DIY method anywhere.  Its just that people  expect more from a product that comes with a price tag.  ;D

Theres nothing more spoonfed than buying a book for $12. You expect more because its a purchase.  Judging by the amount of members here, you will probably find by average, most people who post ideas here have read all those books and being disatisfied with them, and try making up their own idea. There are some clever people here, and everyone is a teacher. We never know everything. Sometime we have to listen to something "we" invented ...read back to us...to see our failings.

lol....the amount of times I dragged my friend over to show him what I had written on the guitar and he just said...errr...thats Whole lot of love...Led Zepplin, or....Pink Flloyd mate.

I only learned to run purely because someone had already taught me to walk. I never made a single thing up in my life. Its all aquired knowledge.

By the way Nathan....you say "just like here " like you dont feel at home here!

Oh yeah in 1981  there  were  plenty of roulette  forums    available.  One just needed to   surf  for gambling forums.

Maybe the  chances in those days  were  100% better  in the back rooms  of the local City Mission.

Just like in Guys  and Dolls.

Those authors  are  just excercising their rights in a free market economy. Somehing wrong with that ?

Those  cats   might charge  20 Dollars per book  in contrast to thoseOne  shot  system sellers  who  are degenerate losers  and are tyring to recoup their losses  finding enough suckers.

You know  darn well what I am yalking about. Right now  we have  a guy here who is " phishing" for  ideas then  for a possible  system scam  locks  his  thread  never to be opened again.

****WHO is JOHN GALT ?******

John Galt was a guy who found a Holy Grail of roulette and was rumored to take his secret to his grave. But in 19th century they did not have a durable way to store an info so i guess his secret is gone.  So the search continues.  ;D

A wise guy is usually associated with a mob. He does not need to know all the answers. But my english is unfortunately my third language so i apologize for any possible miscommunication  ;D

To set the record straight I posted

wise man  NOT  wise guy.

So please no more wise cracks.

That`s the second time  you misquoted me.

Tamino

As an offshot  I would  change the  unit size  at the  four corner bet  to 2 units.

This way all 4 positions  are equally returning  a net win of 7 units.

The suggested change 3-3-3-2

The original 3 units  on each of the betting positions would have resulted in a net win     of 6 units for each of the 18 numbers  within the  double street positions  and net  15 units win for  each the four numbers of  the corner bet.
