As far as i understand you play the 6 combinations of the four groups based on order of appearance with different progression each.Am i right?

So, multiple progressions for different targets?  How about a blow by blow ......  many thanks.

Busy questioning the four Uncles... I believe the 6 combo's are

1+2
1+3
1+4
2+3
2+4
3+4

How are they selected?

Ah ha,  more info from the four Uncles, I must admit they are rather patient with me...

On the spread sheet column headings the

last & penult  =  combo 1+2
last & third = 1 + 3
last & furth = 1 + 4
penult & third = 2 + 3
penult & furth = 1 + 4
third &  furth = 3 + 4
