The only way to beat roulette is by increasing accuracy of predictions (changing the odds). This is possible on many real wheels.

Hello, first of all I want to thank Turner because he gave me this idea from his post "Touching numbers".
First of all this system requires "neighbours" on the roulette table (it would make it a lot easier though).
Let the wheel spin without betting 'till you have 2 touching numbers on the neighbours,
then put one unit on all the numbers on the neighbours EXCEPT that 2 touching numbers.
The chance is high that you will win, and if you lose you can use martingale (or any kind of progression that would work)
I would recommend a bankroll of 1000+ units (you would need one of the 2 numbers to come up 5 times to lose the progression, which would be extremely rare!)

Can someone test this for the long run, or code it in RX?
Cheers, Jordsie.

With touching numbers on the neighbours I mean for example:
0 and 26
27 and 6
10 and 5
10 and 23

Cheers.

Jordsie669

Oh shit, martingale wouldn't work :(
example:
BET: 35, LOST
BET 70, WON
-------------------
BANKROLL: -31

Does anyone know a progression that works with number betting???

Le_Chiffre

for 5 numbers, bet amount on each number

1 unit for 7 spins
6 units for 5 spins
11 units for 3 spins
16 units for 2 spins

But with my system you always bet on 35 numbers, does anyone have an idea?

Le_Chiffre

sorry, i thought you were just doing neighbours....but now i see youre doing the whole wheel minus 2 numbers

Jordsie669

So does anyone have an idea for a progression?

Playing 35 numbers is ridiculous. You won’t need a progression, you’ll need a rope and a rafter.
A ship moored in the harbour is safe, but that's not what ships are made for.

Jordsie669 please don't post  >:D HANGMAN >:D system ideas.
Nikola Tesla was once quoted as saying: “If you only knew the magnificence of the 3, 6 and 9, then you would have a key to the universe.”

I am sorry but I have to agree with skakus
for a chance to be positive you would have to bet
1 unit
then 36 unit per number - 1295 units total for 2 spins and a chance to win 1 unit
hope you get the point and where this is heading
To beat the game you first have to realise you can't beat the game - then comes the hard part

Jordsie669

Hmmm...  :(
Can't we tweak this system in any way?

Cheers, Jordsie.

No, IMHO it's madness! The only way to play is with your fingers, toes and eyes crossed for a couple of spins in the hope you don't get caught! But is it worth betting 35u to win 1? I really don't think so, and don't think any "tweaking" will help.

Le_Chiffre

the only hope is to find a casino where you can bet 0.01 units with a VERY high table limit.  Even then it could get risky....and it'll take a LONG time to make any worth while money.

Jordsie669

Okay, what about doing this method without progression, just accepting loss.
Maybe the winnings overcome the losses?

EDIT: You could decrease the loss with waiting for 3 touching numbers.
