Biased wheels?

Do you play in a brick and mortar casino with live dealers or an airball machine?  If you do, you may have a golden opportunity to win some money.

Here's how to do it.  Keep track of how many times each number hits.  The more spins you record, the better the results.  The spins don't have to be all at one sitting.  As a matter of fact, they couldn't be because you should record at least 1000 spins.  That means your numbers should have around 25 - 30 hits each.  What if you have 5 or 6 or even 9 or so numbers that have hit many more times than they should?  Could this mean that there's a bias in the wheel?  Maybe.  If there is, it can be a gold mine to you.

Let's say after your 1000 spins you have 9 numbers that are clearly hitting more than they should.  How much is enough more to indicate a bias?  I think 20% is enough.  But, just choose the 6 or 9 or 12 or 18 numbers that have hit the most times.

Let's use the top 9 numbers.  Since they won't be positioned on the table for combined play (most likely) we will have to bet 1 unit on each number, so 9 units per spin.  We should be hitting about 5 wins for every 20 spins.  That's because 36 divided by 9 = 4.  So 1 win and 3 losses would be expected.  Every win nets us 27 units and every loss costs us 9 units.  So, if we're hitting more often than 5 out of 20, we're making money.  If we hit 7 times out of 20, we're 72 units ahead which is a good win for 20 spins.

Keep tracking how often the numbers hit while you play either this system or another system you might like.  If you get 3000 or 4000 spins recorded, you will know for sure if you have a biased wheel.

This is a flat bet system.  That is we bet 1 unit on each number.  The only thing that might vary is how many numbers you decide to bet on.  The ones that break away from the pack, however many that might be, should determine how many numbers you bet on.

Stay alert just in case they change the wheel or repair it.  If your hot numbers quit hitting, take a break and see if new numbers float to the top.

Why not give this a try?  You could possibly be pleasantly surprised.  The window of opportunity may not last long since the casino will surely be checking for bias in their wheels also.

Any thoughts?

This is a low risk system.

If you just picked 9 numbers at random and bet every spin on them, you should only lose by about 2.7%.

If you get 1 extra win out of 20 spins, you will net 36 units.

As a matter of fact, if you get 1 extra win out of 40 spins, (that's 11 wins vs 29 losses) you win 36 units.

You can maybe increase your odds of winning by waiting until none of your 9 numbers have hit for a pre-determined number of spins.  Say 4 or 5 spins and then start betting on them.

Also, if you've found a real bias, a progression similar to the Bread Winner should net you more units without increasing the danger of drawdowns too much.

Just bet your 9 numbers for 10 spins.  Adjust your unit size depending on how you did.  If you're in the hole increase your units bet on each number by +1 for the next 10 spins or until you get out of the hole.  If you about even, just stay at the current unit level.  Any time you hit a new profit level, reset back to 1 unit per number.

The worst part about the system is that you have to make 9 bets per spin, so it will take a couple of hundred units to give yourself a fair shot at winning.

But remember, 9 is an arbitrary number I picked.  You could play the best 6 numbers, or 4 or 3 or even 1.  The fewer numbers played, the slower the game will be, but if you're winning, who cares?

Well, I care because I don't have a lot of time to spend at a casino, but maybe one day.

I know in today's world, finding a biased wheel is probably not common, but if you're playing anyway you might as well take a little extra time to see if there appears to be a bias.  You should have enough numbers after a couple of weeks to give you a solid reading.

Then you can check the string of numbers and see if the hot ones are hitting well enough to make you a winner if you're betting on them.

Don't play until you're convinced that you have a bias.

My guess is that every wheel has some bias.  Most won't have enough bias to make it profitable to bet on, but some may.

Wheel here is a clear picture i guess, at least for 2 numbers. Well 1 not to bet at all.. one is .. if you would flat bet it... you would make profit.  Result of 8200 spins. First 2 columns current session, 2 last, overall count.
Your chance to make more profit with Roulette!

It must have been something I ate.

I know that it's improbable to find a really biased wheel that you could actually count on the make you a winner.  But a friend of my brothers has been trying it on an airball machine he plays in Phoenix that posts the hottest and coldest numbers from today's spins.

He's converted it to 2 or 3 street bets that contain the hottest numbers.  It moves at a quicker pace and so far so good.

I thought it had some merit, so I posted the idea.
