Test the accuracy of your method to predict the winning number. If it works, then your system works. But tests over a few hundred spins tell you nothing.

I remember when  I was reading the VLS forum in 2009(or sometime close to that).
There were so many active members posting everyday and they had the hunger of finding a way to make steady money from roulette.
They were making new ideas of progressions, systems, methods etc, they were helping each other with testing etc.
Now for the last 4-5 years I can t see this behavior in any roulette forum...

Ok I can understand that the old members sometime after so much dedication and testing , realised that the game can t be beaten and they stop posting or even reading the forums...
But where are the new members that should have the thist of exploring the game ???

MrJ

"Ok I can understand that the old members sometime after so much dedication and testing , realised that the game can t be beaten and they stop posting" >>> I always love this statement. Why cant the opposite be true? How about...... they are doing QUITE WELL and dont need to post as often or ask questions etc.?

Watch us big doggs, the MEN, play at a REAL casino, on a REAL table. All we ask is that you stay out of our way. The rest? Bots, airball, RNG...that's more for the Kitty Kat Klub. To be great, you have to be willing to be mocked, hated and misunderstood.

even if that s the case...where are the new members full of thirst in making money in the game?
Where are the new posts ? where are the new ideas?

VLS

I found out software can help foster creativity to develop new systems :) Pen and paper has its place when you have your way already defined and go to land-based.

Also, most systems arise from simple observation. Charting without looking for a specific thing, but letting the numbers "show" a recurrent event in your tracking sheet, the consistent kind you can build a system upon on, at a later time. This requires an open mind.

...Perhaps we simply need to devote more time to "blank tracking"? I do come with new ideas this way. You can see some of them at:

I do hope there's a new wave of method explorers and roulette coders around :)

Cheers!

Where are the new posts ? where are the new ideas?" >>> I can not speak for the NEW members, nor do I care.

Just saying, this statement always makes me laugh....... "Bob Smith has not posted in 10 months, I guess he lost everything and realized you cant do WELL at roulette".

:ooh: Says who?

From ur last posts MrJ seems clearly that you  lost a significant amount of money and you are searching for a true way to win the money back.
so many years in the forums you haven t made any gains of knowledge on the game .. all your posts are newbie posts.

sorry I didn t have the intention to say these things but you asked for it

Usually at "this point", I read ALL past posts (from Asxetos) looking for a PATTERN, yep, found one just as I figured. All too easy to spot.

Kens cool...and is never personal. Respect that.

As to your post (back on subject)....the more I have learned, the harder its got.

Its no longer a spinning wheel in a room with nice carpets and free drinks....

its about finding edges, and playing ideas for a reason. Playing ideas for a reason is the hardest to learn.

(why am I playing this.....why does this have an edge....why is this bet selection more accurate...etc)

Ive posted 1600 posts here. All sorts of crap with no rhyme or reason.

Ive posted way less....because I am no longer trying to impress my peers on how much I know, but already know when an idea has no potential.  I only know an idea has potential by testing it. No time to post....and certainly no posting until I am certain about something.

too much "thinking" posted in forums.

Colbster

I notice that the forum as a whole tends to get really worked up about certain ideas that become black holes that take over every thought for a period of time.  For instance, when JL was rolling out his ideas, they got SO much attention.  Views, posts, related threads, etc., there was nothing here except John Legend for a couple of weeks (months?).  When it inevitably came to a halt, everyone was emotionally worn out.  There were very few new ideas being rolled out and some of the phenomenal issues that were being discussed at the time when it all exploded got sidetracked by the exciting new.  Perfectly good concepts got ignored and forgotten.  I think that new members get excited about the next "big thing" and get quickly consumed by the vortex of a certain hot method and they get emotionally attached to it.  When it fails, they are spent and don't have the energy to re-engage.  Turner is right about how experienced players can just know that something has no real merit, that it's just another flash in the pan.  The new players lack that experience of being burned by something that sounds obvious but has no edge beyond new packaging or a new way of tracking.  Sometimes I think there should be an invite-only group where people who post a new method every hour on the hour don't clog up the system and serious minds can have serious discussions.  It might be something that a new player could read, just not contribute to.

On the contrary, winning somewhat consistently
is possible albeit boring and labor intensive imo.

I post my new ideas still and help with testing others' systems.  People
should ask for help more (I'm sure there are people on here more than happy to help.)
