Triple the fun for a home run

I'm not spending much time on roulette lately because I have to work too hard the stay ahead of the game.  And as shocking as this may be, I don't enjoy playing the game enough to play it just for fun.  Nevertheless, I still find myself musing about different ways to play and every now and then I come up with a new mix that seems to have staying power.  This is the latest.

We're going to bet on all three of the even chance bets at the same time.
To make the bet selection easy to do without needing pen and paper, we'll just bet the penultimate or "time-before-last" on all three even chance locations.

We're going to bet the same amount on each location so that's pretty easy.

We're going to use a simple progression that, in my testing, which is limited, is pretty solid.

Any profit and we end the current attack and reset back to 1 unit on each of the 3 e. c.'s.

Whenever we're in a losing state, out next bet is determined by dividing the amount we're down by 3.  We always round up.  So if we're down 5 units,  5 divided by 3 = 1.66 so we round up to 2 units on each of the 3 locations.  If we're down 13,  13 divided by 3 = 4.33 so we round up to 5 and bet 5 units on each e.c.

One thing I like to do is add a unit if I have an even number as a result of the division.  This will guarantee me a profit if I hit all 3 e.c.'s.

Here's my theory.  Betting "time-before-last" catches all trends except 2-2-2-2-2.  That's the only losing sequence so most of the time we will be catching a win on each e.c. before too long.  Since we're dividing the amount we're down by 3 that means that anytime we have a spin where we win all 3 of the e.c.'s, we're at a new profit.  The reason I add 1 when my division gives me a whole number is that a win on all 3 e.c.'s will only break even and I'm looking for a profit of at least 1 unit.  Of course if I do win that next bet, I will have a profit of 3 units.  If you want to be as conservative as possible, you can not add the extra unit on a whole number result and you'll just break even on the triple hit.

If you win 2 of the e.c.'s and lose 1, you still recover a third of the amount you're down, so the next bet will reflect the win.

This method is very easy to play without pen and paper.  Why don't some of you try it for a couple of sessions to +20 units and tell the rest of us what you think?

Of course single zero with La Partage rules is the best game if you can find a casino offering it.

As far as a stop loss is concerned, I'd set at least 10 times my win target for a session.  So, if I'm playing enough attacks to reach +20 units for the day, I'd take 200 units to the casino.

P.S.  This is a relatively aggressive progression, and can be tamed quite a bit.  I like it because it recovers pretty well most of the time without having to make really large bets.
In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!

If you don't like the aggressiveness of the progression, which as I analyze it, is nothing more than a camouflaged martingale, and we all know that a martingale is deceptive in that it wins a lot most of the time, but when you enter a bad steak, it takes it all back or hits your stop loss.

You can use a +1, -1 or a +3, -3.  When we get a triple win, we -3 and when we get a triple loss, we add 3.  When we get a double win with 1 loss, we -1 to our bet amount and when we get a double loss with 1 win, we +1 to our bet amount.

This will slow the progression down to and give us time to hang in there on a high loss to win sequence.

I have a question, not trying to be negative.  If you expecting to hit all 3, why not bet individual number's with a progression?

What I mean is if you going to bet LOR -> why not 1,3,5,7,9 ?
LOB -> why not 11, 13, 15 and 17?

With right tools and good money management, any gambling activity can produce a steady income.

One other controller.  Play the progression described in my original post but the maximum you can increase your bet size is 3 units on each location.

Other options:  Just play +1 on a loss of either 1 or 3 and play -1 on a win of either 1 or 3.  Or play +1 on a -1 loss and +2 on a -3 loss.  The reverse on a win.

I like the simple +1 on any loss and -1 on any win the best.

Your suggestion is not a bad idea.  The difference is that you either lose 100% with your idea or you win 100%.  The way I'm suggesting to play it, you can also have a partial win if you hit on 2 of the 3 locations.  With your idea you lose 100% if you only hit 2 of the 3 locations.  The same thing if you lose 2 out of 3.  With my idea, I don't lose everything but with yours, you do.

I'm not saying my idea is better than yours.  They're just different systems.

This is just a simple way to play that gives you some organization to how you play.  In the long run it will take luck to stay ahead of losses.

So what's new?  Right?

Yes, you are right. With mine you will lose a lot at the same time win a lot.

With your method, you will be playing for long and catch a lucky run sooner or later.
