Let say,

imagine that,
a man, a rigid system player,

keep a record of win and losing session,

when he in casino, and he play his system

continuously, for few hours straight,

and when he needs to go to toilet,

or meals, his assistance will, play for him,

follow strictly his system's rules.

Says, when he win,

his system produce, 'X' profit,

and when his system lose,

the system caused a few '-X' losses.

He realized that he cant win constantly,

except when he choose to leave the casino,

if he is lucky to hit early winning streaks of

winning session!

And now we look at his note of win and lose,

sessions played continuously,

after a stop at profit, and cut-losses.

Since we cant PREDICT random,

of SESSIONS of random of wins,

and losers, session?

So, the million dollar question,

is,

How we could take

advantage of win/lose RANDOM sessions, to win.?

Now my opinion about that million dollar question,  almost nothing to do to take advantage,
BUT  when  play one /any particular session (we) should have good bankroll, good betselection  and progression,
dicipline, know when to quit ( quit with minimal losses or when won something), enter and exit points into/from real play,
rise bets when on the W streak and low bets when start the L streak. 

We can not influence the future outcome but can have a good map from the last outcomes,
even we can force the LW registry(last spins) by a particular session to look like this LLLLLLL....  or WWWWWW....,
and not  LWWLLL... or  WLLWWW....( just examples), so:
last 18 spins  (or more ) betting on  R  ( LW ) :    LLWLWWWLWLLWWLLLWLWLW....
now same session but last 18 uniques numbers  LW :  WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW....
or  in streets case , meanwhile on R  ( or B, O;E;H;L) we have LWLWWLW ( just sometimes WWWWW  or LLLLLL),
we  have most of the time on 6 streets ( or splits , numbers) WWWWWW....( or LLLLLLL...)
So just Maps  , it s up to each one what and how to bet next.

The essence of HG is that it does not exist unless you have a clear physical advantage over the wheel. But if you are not looking for HG but rather for winning roulette from time to time significally more than losing, that's a different matter. It is possible even with no physical advantage. Just my opinion.

Whatever the system it comes down imo to
sufficient bankroll and proper money management.

No progressions.  The system should
be easy to implement w/o pencil and paper (if possible).

System play should be hit and run imo. 
(mini-sessions) small profits (or small losses) and leave.
