No what I'm doing is using my best judgement on votes that are unjustified. Like if:

1. someone says they like a movie, and
2. another member votes to "dislike" the person, and
3. The person that voted obvious has a personal grudge against the poster, and
4. the person who voted has lots of votes as per above rules, but mostly negative votes towards particular members,

Then its reasonable to assume its a "spite vote".

Yes thats fine. See the above for my loose criteria for votes that were just removed. I did not spend a lot of time carefully considering each and every vote. For now I just cleaned it up a little. It's not all that important. But now that I've made my intentions clear, people need to be careful that they dont go voting negatively on every little thing their "adversary" posts.

If a MrJ spites on me, just because I started a new topic, should I report and react on a trolls action?
And if this Troll and his best friend/enemy enter my topic and destroy it just for fun or any other reason, i just stop posting.

Ok, members shouldn't report bad behavior, and nothing should be done about clear abuse of the rating system.

If I "report" a post, days later I get an automated reply, that you are very busy. That helps a lot. Thx.

When you report a post, ALL mods receive email notification. Then whichever mod gets to it first takes appropriate action. So actually you're talking about all mods, not just me.

In most cases, reported issues are dealt with within 6 hours. Often less than an hour. I dont know what "automated reply" you're talking about. You're kicking up a fuss about nothing.

Winkel you are over-reacting. I actually dont recall any particular time you contacted me to complain about anything. But if anyone complains about something, I do take action, and am fair. Im sure many members here will support this.

Rather than criticize for nothing, just report any behavior against the rules and we'll deal with it. Dont make a big drama out of it.

Caleb had a gamblers fallacy remark in conspiracy thread. For no reason. That is the definition of trolling. A mod deleted it. But thats an example of the stupidity that makes this hard

If you moderate caleb it will help. This way if it is an antagonizing post it never makes it to the board.
