Idea about betting double dozens

This idea is so new, I checked it a bit, but I thought of it last night.

So I was thinking about betting double dozens. Normally we pick some
data set as our selection. Like betting the last 2 dozen.

My idea is to bet the data set that came out in the last two spins.
Here is a random example.

1  This number was the "next to last".
2  This number was the "third to last".
3  So we bet here next to last (1), and third to last (3).

And continue that picking pattern every spin. So as the tendency
changes, we move with that change.  Try it a bit and offer feedback
about if it's just the same old, same old...

I have experimented with many double dozen methods over the last few years, but in the end I always face the inevitable situation of having to use a negative progression to recoup losses.

Flat betting does not work with double dozen methods (at least not consistently) and the usual 1 3 9 27 negative progression is a pure bankroll killer.

I think you will face the same eventuality with this particular bet selection method also. I have not found one single double dozen method that wins consistently with flat betting.

If you are foolish enough to back two dozens for the same spin then the bank has an 8% advantage over you.

For if you back one dozen the bank only bets you 2/1 that 25 numbers will beat 12, whereas the proper odds are 2.08/1

And in the same way, if you back two dozens, the bank makes you lay 2/1 that 24 numbers will beat 13, whereas the proper odds are only 1.84/1 and you consequently have a disadvantage of 8% in the odds.

I can't bring the two opinions together except that tamino is betting flat and
waiting for the simple swing in his direction for profit. You may get hit for
2 units, but there will be better winning streaks.

I think that chasing the loss is the problem.  Can you add to this tamino? Cause
my feeling is that this may be the case, and chasing the loss becomes the problem.

I also feel/wonder that there is something about chasing the immediate loss is the
problem with any negative progression. The problem is that you can and will get
times where there is a string of losses.  If you waited for that spell to pass, and recoup
at a better time, or if you adapt your bet selection, then one of those two would be a longer
term solution.

Comments on how you play tamino? What is your start and stop?

I have never ever revealed my method of  how I am playing  any 2 dozen bet selection. I am not a system churner like some  posters with  3-4 Holy Grail per week.
