Hi,

Just wondered if anybody had seen or played "Cash Out Roulette" which is a new roulette game on betfair arcade?

Betfair and Be The House unveil ‘Cash Out Roulette’

Gaming company Be The House has announced the launch of ‘Cash Out Roulette’ with Betfair.

The product, a new take on classic roulette games, offers bets over consecutive spins of a roulette wheel, in addition to the traditional single spin roulette.

Players can place bets on outcomes such as the appearance of a certain number in the next 10 spins or 18 red numbers in the next 25 spins, with the ability to cash-out during a multi-spin bet.

Betfair is the first operator to go live with the product, although Be The House said other companies are due to launch the service in the coming months.

Seth Freedman, chief executive and co-founder of Be The House, said: “We genuinely believe that Cash Out Roulette is the most ground-breaking development in roulette’s 300-year history.

“I don’t come from a gaming background, and when I was researching the industry for my latest book it didn’t make sense that roulette is essentially over after each spin.

“The beauty of Cash Out Roulette is that it doesn’t cannibalise those players who love traditional roulette, it simply offers an exciting new alternative.

“We’re delighted to have Betfair on board and the reaction from those that have seen it within the industry has been amazing.

“We’re confident that we have created something that will change the way roulette is played forever.”

Well I find it is interesting that they have applied the sports betting cash-out methodology to the game of roulette!

I suppose you could try some "hedging" with these options which might reap rewards...

I am a little put off by the fact it is only arcade (rng) and not live dealer roulette though...
Perhaps that will arrive soon though?  :)

I tried it - and its actually really quite good!! A pleasant and welcome new innovation. Makes you think a bit...

I see now why it may not ever be live because you MIGHT need to take a certain amount of time to think about your options after each spin if you have set up "cash outs"; so it's good to be able to do that all in your own time without being rushed and whatnot.

You still have the slowspin/turbospin options; but it's fun working out and adjusting your stakes after each spin hedgewise bearing in mind the profit to be realised on a successful cashout

I didn't do anything complicated or clever. Just played for low stakes on EC's - and started off by simply aiming for 3 correct predictions in 3 spins.

Never heard that kind of roulette before. How is the game play compare to old or existing roulette game? Is the game very different compare to the present roulette?

Hi,

It is same single zero roulette table layout and same classic game with exactly the same odds and payouts. So you can play the same as any normal roulette, - but OPTIONALLY there is a new "cashout bet" options interactive panel where you can set and bet on multi-spin events for EC's, cols, doz and single numbers...

For instance, I set a bet that there will be 3 reds occurring in the next 3 spins and set the total stake £0.40p. It tells me that if this bet is successful that the payout will be £3.30p. When I am happy with the settings I click to place the bet and make it "active".

(You can have more than one "active" cashout bet running at the same time)

If I want, I can spin now and see what happens..

BUT, to be cautious I will now also place a 40p bet on Black on the usual and familiar main layout.

Now let us say the very first spin result is Black - I will lose my 40p "cashout bet" but will win with my normal layout bet of 40p - so it is neither a win or a loss. My bank balance will be the same as before the spin.

Before the next spin I decide to place the same cashout bet (for 3/3 reds to occur) and also same stake (40p) on the layout as before.

This time the spin result is a Red - I lose my layout bet of 40p and "win" the first leg of my cashout bet. (1/3) The panel/box is offering me a 74p cashout sum which I can take if I like (cash out); if I did that I would have a loss of £0.06p on the round/spin... Not too bad!!

I decide however to continue with the active "cashout bet" and also stake 40p again on the layout on Black.

Ok- another red hits so I have 2/3 legs of my treble complete. I lose the layout bet but now the cashout panel is offering me a cashout value of£1.59.

So far I have staked £1.20 in 2 spins (2 x 40p on Black + the 40p cashout bet)  I can take the £0.39 profit NOW and cash out if I wish to.

However I play on after placing another 40p bet on the Black as insurance again...

A third red hits  - so I lose my 40p bet on Black and win the cashout of £3.30 - making a total profit of £1.70.

Of course it the black had hit - would be a total loss of £0.80p (Total Stakes £1.60; Returns £0.80) over the three spins...

You don't have to do the insurance bets like I did in that example. You can just set the 40p for 3/3 hits on RED and spin away. Get 3 reds and you have a profit of £2.90. Who knows? Roulette can be a streaky game at times.

I found I was winning the cashout bet 2 or 3 times over a session.

This is quite new to me - but it was good fun; certainly adds a new dimension to play!  :)
