So how can we use these results?  Any idea?
Cofi I want you to test something for me against those results. To see if they mirror mine. Can you PM me??

Triggers don't work in this type of betting in my opinion. You just play less games by waiting 4 trigger.  Hope that u continue your hot streak but keep in mind that 1k spins r just early indicator how a system behaves.  Lots of systems tank after 5k or more spins.

Regards

If I play right now, I'd play without triggers, just bet flat. Just thinking, but at first I aim for 10k spins test.

We brake even @ 15/5 (0)
We win @ 14/6 (+4), 13/7 (+8), 12/8 (+12), 11/9 (+16), 10/10 (+20), 9/11 (+24), 8/12 (+28)

Hi cofi,
Shouldn't that be:

We lose @ 20/0 (-20), 19/1 (-17), 18/2 (-14), 17/3 (-11), 16/4 (-8)
We brake even @ 15/5 (-5)
We win @ 14/6 (-2), 13/7 (+1), 12/8 (+4), 11/9 (+7), 10/10 (+10), 9/11 (+13), 8/12 (+16)

Just wondering??

Hi A,

yes that's correct, my aim were splits, these calculations were made in the pause between 2 football games, in a rush, sorry. :)

I'll do that calculations tomorrow again, now I'm focused on the splits.

You may have noticed that this is primarily a system based forum. Just because 'all systems fail in the end' doesn't diminish my enjoyment of reading about them and how people apply them.
I came on board at VLS shortly before it was sold to Steve.  Soon after, Lanky, (and myself,) bailed out over some "hard feelings" with Victor (/Steve) about it.  But just before that, Lanky and i came to the realization that the above sort of message ought to be in bold print in a sticky thread.  Never happened.

It reflects badly on a board which condones, nay, encourages, posters who always do more than just proceed to post just a method.  When Mr. J posts a method, that's what we get; but not with just about every one else.

A pit-boss once said, "It goes one way for a while, then the other."  That's about the best starting-pt there is to casino-gambling.  It's not quantum science, hardly so-tricky.  One thing must get out of the way for another to move.  A fact which is clearly demonstrated by card-counting.  Does it matter that you (think that you) can't see the "deck" at the roulette-table?  No, there's always a deck.  If you want to go the system-route for real, then go find that "deck", or a way to improvise it.  Plus whatever odds-and-ends you may find, here, or elsewhere.  Try to climb ahead a few units each session, avoid the occasional few extreme ones which go nowhere but down.  Work one extreme against the other, to all degrees, and types.

The pitfall with a systems-only board is no real casino-experience exposure.  (Even those alone have to become extremely-boring at some point.)

Quote from: woods101 on Jun 08, 08:59 PM 2012... 'voodoo'. Jeez. who came up with this?
Sonny, over at blackjackinfo.com, has a Voodoo section, all you have to do is "look at him crossways".  Even the Wiz is in it, didn't even try to defend himself.

Quote from: woods101 on Jun 08, 08:59 PM 2012Well we already know the Maths thanks, we just enjoy reading other people's systems. By the way this doesn't make us unintelligent etc etc.
(Faulty) math belies all of the (faulty) systems.  Systems aren't necessarily a bad thing; any more than one can't have some good "issues".

Quote from: woods101 on Jun 08, 08:59 PM 2012There is a founding statement regarding this forum that placed an emphasis on open-mindedness and respect in relation to how we deal with each other.
The basic problem with all of the "politics" in such a policy is that there ought to not be any "dealing with each other".

Open-mindedness is a mental thing, as is tolerance of others, speculation, etc.  It's nothing personal.  Focus on the "written word".

Quote from: woods101 on Jun 08, 08:59 PM 2012If you don't like it - ignore it.
"Worked" for the (extinct) dodo.

Hey, the sun's up here in Canada, and i'm going for a 3 hour hike, to work on my own system,  and rest my mind from other stuff.  And some family get-togethers throughout next week.

Easy, well finish what you start, then it's not a matter of having to ignore anything.  Do your best, let it go, really.
