Ive been reading a lot in this forum recently and have formed an opinion.

I think my way to play is this. I hope it sparks a few posts.

Like the boxer is taught, keep on your feet. Dont stand still doing the same thing.

Now that is good advice, but it can also mean flitting from one idea to another.
So we need a system that changes regularly but has a structure that ensures you dont drift.

Mr J is correct in saying that a small chip selection with no progression. I really like Mr J. I love his basic no nonsense approach.

So a system with flat betting and 3,4 chips each bet. Like he said once (sic)....if it needs a progression, its stopped working.

I think this also:

Its better to have a fairly good idea that you stick to rigidly without loosing faith than
having a risky system that can win big or fall hard making you panik and do stupid things.

So the system has to be stable.Unfortunatly stable is dull and dedication is needed.

I suffer from a real world problem, and kinda fall apart in the crowded hustle and bustle
around the roulette table, especially when the Chinese and Asians start throwing £200 down and announcing "zero and neighbours" at the top of their voice.

I really dont know if the next table which is completly empty is any better.
My sad system which seems to be eating up my bankroll at an extrodiary rate seems to be being scrutinised by the croupier...and hes laughing at me. That bad streak seems to be stood next to me taking the piss.

I am definatly leaning towards Voodoo systems. Roulette cant be beat with a system. I dont think being 1 U up after 4 days in the casino is beating roulette.Roulette is luck. Its about managing that luck to your favour. Dont chase your losses...etc. Im preaching to the initiated I know.

The next think I say is the biggest think I ever realised about gambling.

***I think the holy grail is walking out the casino happy no matter if you lost or won****.

It means you have completly understood money management, self control and the probabilities of the bets you are laying.

10% winning a bit of money
50% coming out the casino happy even if you lost.
40% enjoying the buzz of the casino and the thrill of playing games you completly understand 100%

This is key to me. Completly undertanding the game. Its fine saying that the Casino has a 2.6% house edge but it has a bigger advantage if you play like a complete knob because you
havnt read the rules and best practices.

Notice that being happy about the thing you chose to do is the highest %

So I need a system that you can see easy from the marque without tracking and writing numbers down.
One Chinese woman at our casino leans all over you, placing bets. Ive missed many a bet getting nudged while Im jotting stuff down.

Also....this is a biggie for me. I need a system that lives in the moment. I cant cope with seeing that after losing £50 betting on 11,13,27,36 for 30 spins without a sniff... I come back from tha bar after 10 mins and see the marque showing 0,36,36,22,1,13,13,11,36

I cant be beholding to numbers. They haunt me.

It has to be simple.(no tracking)
It has to go wrong for a while without killing you (small bet)
It has to be in the moment so I can go take a p*ss when I want(based on the last number or last couple)
My behaviour has to be contolled and not embarrassing. You embarrass yourself when you start throwing money at a table to recover losses.
It was never about making a living. its all about having a chance to win some money during a great night out by understanding a game totally.

We arnt trying to beat the games. Roulette, blackjack, craps. Its about getting a free or plus money night out in the Casino.The Casino takes your money, not the game.

YOU CANT BEAT THE CASINO

The Casino evolves if you find a way to win. The CSM card shuffler killed Blackjack dead. It was the genious way to kill card counting.
But.....me and the wife walk out of Grosvenor Casino every week with a free night or £50 up.

This was never meant to patronise you experts....its a look into my situation. I thought a heart on sleeve post may be interesting.

Im sick of people being covert and secretive in here.
