Odds and payouts are different things. If either the odds or payouts don't change, then the result is the same - eventual loss.

One thing I like to do is try new ideas with 100 unit investmenst.

We will play for +10 units.

Here's one for anyone who likes to play roulette.

Buy in for 100 units.

We're going to bet on the streets.

Start by betting on all the streets except the last 1 to hit.  Or you choose your own method to select 11 streets to bet on.  This will cost you 11 units per spin.  A win nets you just 1 unit.
Continue to play 11 streets until you win 10 units or have a loss.

If you have a loss before you reach +10 units, start betting on all the streets except the last 2 to hit.  This will cost you 10 units.  You make 2 units on every win.  Play at the 10 street level until you are back to zero.  Then revert to playing 11 streets again.

If you lose while playing 10 streets before getting back to even, start playing all the streets except the last 3 to hit.  This will net you +3 on each win and will cost you -9 on a loss.  Keep playing 9 streets until you get back to zero or have a loss.

If you lose while playing 9 streets before getting back to even, start playing all the streets except the last 4 to hit.  This will net you +4 on each win and will cost you -8 on a loss.  Keep playing 8 streets until you get back to zero or have a loss.

Follow this pattern until you are playing all the streets except the last 6 to hit.  Play 6 streets until you get back to zero or lose your 100 units.

The only way we can win 10 units is if we win 10 times in a row while playing the last 11 streets.

Playing less than 11 streets is just for recovering from minus back to even.  Never play fewer streets than needed to get back to zero.  So, if we're down 6 and we're playing 8 streets and we win, we will win 4 units making us down 2.  Instead of playing 8 streets again which will net us +4 if we win and will put us over zero, we will play 10 streets.  A win on 10 streets will net us +2 which is exactly what we need to get back to zero.  Then we can revert to betting 11 streets.

This is a fun way to play.  Takes very little mental agility.  And, you're going to be very surprised how often you walk out of the casino with you 10 units of profit.

Okay, if you want after winning +10 units, you can take a break or switch tables and play again.  What the heck.  We're having fun, right?

Enjoy,

George
In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!

Very important to switch tables.  The wheel you just beat will have an eye on you and be out for blood.

Amazing how the darn things can get even and then some!

Maybe a disguise will help?

Just wanted to point out a safer way to play the progression.

Play recovery mode per D'Alembert style.

Here's an actual game.  Please note that 11+  means I won betting on 11 streets.  You'll note that I only won 1 unit.
6+ means I won betting on 6 streets.
-10 means I lost 10 units betting on 10 streets.

11+    +1
-11   -10
-10   -20
-9     -29
8+    -25
-8     -33
7+    -28
-7     -35
6+    -29
6+    -23
6+    -17
6-     -23
6+    -17
6+    -11
9+    -8    Right here I went to 9 streets for higher chance of wins
9+    -5
9+    -2
11+   -1   same thing here
11+    0

Had I stayed betting 6 streets instead of going to 9 streets, I would have lose 2 of the bets instead of winning all 5 of them.

It is a trade-off.  Safety over quicker recovery.

Also note that I had 5 losses in 7 spins and still had a good win streak for a recovery.

5 losses in 7 spins is a very bad loss to win ratio for these bets.  But it does happen.  When it does, it doesn't mean it's the end of the world, just need some patience and wise money management.
Did I mention a little luck doesn't hurt either!

I played it twice, and the empty street never show, got 20 units. This looks risky in that way you loose 11 if the first  hit the empty street. But it is not more risk a than any progression, there you catch losses, and may be risk 100 to win one.

Near always if you try to find a bias wheel, you do not find any hot sector, but may be  a suspected cold, it is possible to do the same with pleins, bet 30 to 33 numbers. Find the fast way, use H/L,DOZ, streets, cheval and pleins.

I was trying the Alembert  style as well. I start with the last shown (found of repeaters).
Add one at the street hitting if a loss, took away the oldest street on winning.
I am not sure if you meant we  start with 11 streets and do the opposite.

On a rare case, what should we do if we with this rules fill all streets.
Give up? Jump down and use 2 chips?

Stopped  at 20 unit plus.

I have got some cash the whole week from testing your suggestions GLC.
I test in real mode, often  1 or 10 cent chips, but this were with 1 Euro.
