Title: Some questions from a newbie.
Post by: peteman on Jun 03, 06:06 PM 2015
Greetings all,

I have been contemplating whether I should start playing online roulette or not for a while now, and I'm hoping that I could get some advice from some of the more experienced members of this forum about some of the concerns that I have.

The first one is this; are the majority of the online casinos, in your opinion, reputable casinos? What type of roulette programs do they use to generate numbers, and are these numbers pretty much consistent with what you would expect to see at a real roulette wheel?

My next question is this, have any of you made lots of money playing online roulette, alternatively lost lots of money and do you use a particular strategy/program?

It seems obvious to me that it would be next to impossible to predict outcomes playing roulette, but plausible to improve your odds betting only on 50/50 odds alternatives (if you exclude the green pocket) like red/black odd/even. I came across a youtube clip the other day that seems to offer a good strategy based on the martingale system, in which you only start betting after the ball has hit a similar colour combination 4 times in a row and then double up on bets.

youtube.com/watch?v=PRwRQoCVXr4

Have any of you tried out this system or variations of this system? And if not, does the strategy presented seem like a valid one and would you on average win money if you use such a system?

Another thing I'm interested in is the difference, if any such do exist, between real casinos and online casinos. Is there a difference in the win/ loss ratios between the two, or are online casinos pretty much the same thing as real casinos?

Cheers

Pete

here is the video explanation

link:s://:.youtube.com/watch?v=nmNDqBF--As&feature=iv&src_vid=PRwRQoCVXr4&annotation_id=annotation_2036929809 (link:s://:.youtube.com/watch?v=nmNDqBF--As&feature=iv&src_vid=PRwRQoCVXr4&annotation_id=annotation_2036929809)

what this is, is waiting for a color to show 4 times

then begin a martingale on the opposite color

its a terrible idea

if this worked NONE of us would be on this forum because martingale is something we have all entertained

most of the time you will win

but there will be a time the colors streaks 12 in a row, which ive seen many times......

in my early days i won 1,000 on a martingale using $10 bets

had i used $20 bets that would have been 2,000

$40 bets would have been 4,000

but guess what

i lost it all once the streak of death came

now if you truly are a newbie and are who you say you are then read this forum there is good info

Yes, I get that 4 in a row of a similar colour is probably not the best strategy, but how about say 10 -11 in a row of a similar colour and then double up. I would imagine the higher the frequency of a similar colour, the more likely it is for that colour to be broken at the next round.

How common is a 10 to 12 streak of a single colour?

Don't play Martingale ever!
I've seen a streak of 23 black including zero and it is not that uncommon.

Each spin in independent, the wheel has no memory, after 15 reds, the odds of red appearing the next spin are exactly the same as black still. Martingale is silly and dangerous, lots of other better ways to play.

well , if u re enough pattient u  could start betting after lets say 10 black in a row , its much more safe, or towait for a dozen to hit 6,7 times in row and then start betting the other 2 dozens , use virtual losses in your game . cheers pete

Virtual losses are fine but not really on EC bets, i have seen a single dozen repeat 26 times, black appear 28 times on the bounce, a quad missing for 95 spins ect...... nothing is ever due, we just think it is.
