second half of 70's and all 80's was very much Queen's epoch. That was a rock group which was really standing out. The interesting thing is that looks like now it is much more well known and respectable than it was then. That was probably the first rock group to break through the Iron Curtain (while still being banned from recording discs in the USSR) , and that was the first rock group which created lots of things thus making real history.
and Freddie Mercury was one who really shaped this group making it what it became
