Howdy everyone...
So whilst I'm busy tweaking an old system I thought to ask the old and wise ...
Do you think that ANY of the matrix systems has better strike rates than the normal tracking/betting systems?
For example - If I wanted to play double dozens and I had to compare the following two methods ( normal vs. matrix )
Normal - last dozen + previous to last dozen
vs.
Matrix type - 123, bet against 123 to happen again.
My opinion is yes, or at best it seems that way. I enjoy tracking it, have a reference to look back at, dodge certain patterns. Overall it feels nicer to me. That's why I ask the question - if there is any merit to it?
Guys - and please. Don't shoot each other down. I asked opinions and you're entitled to your own.
....and GO ;)
About playing against 1,2,3 there is the great "Grassroots" thread in here:

Sure its 122 pages long but there is also a lot of drama & fluff you can skip past so its not so long a read really.
Anyways what i got myself from the double dozen/cloumn thread is that its pointless to have a progression higher then 2 steps like 1,3 or even just 1,2. This combined with . Stats clearly show that most wins are won by far on the 1st or 2nd step in a normal 1, 3. 9, 27, 81 so going to step 3 or further is simply pointless, risky and potentially will kill you.
Then there is the whole "rule of never play immediately after a loss" when playing with large board coverage procentages like Double Dozen/column or higher. It will of save you from drowning in a loss, loss, loss, loss, loss when doing a 1, 3. 9, 27, 81 progression .. but also work if you flatbet i find. Just having patience and wait with betting untill you see a virtual win again & then let the higher procentage do it job with time.
Anyways i wrote my own way of playing double columns in the back of the grassroots thread (page 122) where i throw in a bit of regression too. Sure regression my turn it into a even slower grind but it mean you start playing with the "casinos money" quicker too.
Everytime I think of a column strategy I think of this thread.

I really do think there is something to be exploited here. I have seen guys win huge amounts exploiting the layout of the double zero wheel. Maybe we can incorporate your ideas with this.
