Sleeping line

I got three repeaters on line 19-24. Start betting 0.01 raising one every spin. The line was sleeping 98 times, then hit once, went to sleep 36 more times. I was a lot behind. Change the stake to rise 0.1 and never reduce on winnings, and at last I come out plus a few. The hitting when it starting was quite often. Can not remember I have  seen this before, may have happen, but not noted.
