Hi

a while ago i won money using a laboucher line but then came a cropper and lost the lot! However i wondered if there could be some legs in it using a variation

First system.
Bet 3 times if lose 3 times on the trot, stop betting and wait for a 'virtual' win, then start to bet again, if i won 3 or more units i would start a fresh line.

using line 0 1 2 3 4 5/

playing R or B.  I chose to play R,

the first 3 lines won quite quickly, winning some 20 units, however on only the 4th line into the test the system got hammered by a nightmare run that ended with what would have been a bet of 1500 or so units !!!
In fact even to be able to put such a series of bets on would have taken a massive betting bank.

what i found quite 'disturbing' in a way was how quickly the 'nightmare' run appeared. (this was done whilst watching live table on Paddy power. Small winning runs were followed by long losing runs relentlessly!!! So much for that system!

Second system

as crude and simple as could be, (Still using 0 1 2 3 4 5 line though)

I wrote R or B on 100 bits of paper, i then simply drew them out of a snooker trophy i have, (putting each piece of paper back in the cup for the next draw)

to give me a line of 100 R or B's, i went back to the table and tested that the wheel would not match those picks

So the cup picks  R B R R B, so bet B R B B R etc

This test won 52 units.
The worst line in this time was one where the spins actually matched 15 times out of 18 !!! the largest bet was 70 units.  Perhaps i should use the cup more often

With rigid strategies soon or later the catch 22 comes! Must be a flexible thinking to beat roulette variations. The only good strategie you implemented is the LW strategy - wait for win after loss.
Many times when you play just one rigid EC, comes for 30 spins only single one, where the other one prospers in streaks. Count them which is coming more often and bet on that one - bet on favorites not on losers.
You will be what you bet on!

hi thanks for reply, but lets say on the system 1 test, when it was losing several times, i changed to B, How can one know that trend is going to continue? when the last spin or series of spins does not
affect the next?

the problem with every system ive ever played or tested seems to be this kind of sequence

LLLL WW LLL W LLLLLLL WW LLLL etc occasional wins separated by longish losing runs that eventually deplete the betting bank usually to zero!! how can such sequences be beaten  :sad2:

Cheers dth
