The Fibo as I understand it..
0 1 1 2 3 5 8 13 21........add the last two that came for the new bet. Right? When you win, you cross off the last two bets and bet the sum of the last two uncrossed numbers.
Example: 8 13 21 (34) My next bet is in parenthesis. It does not get written down unless it loses. Right so far?
My 34u bet wins......
8 13 21 Now my next bet would be 8+5=13. If I win, I cross off the 8 & 5. Right so far?
You always bet the next Fibo number, which is the last two added. Right?

It seems people are using this like a Martingale. "I went to 8 steps..."

Sam, just my interpretation...
Because betting one dozen has better pay out than EC's, using the Fibb. would net you a profit or close to it most time... maybe that's what they are doing?

The Fibo and Split Martingale are very alike. I'm quite famaliar with the SM but need to study the Fibo.

Seems it loses at a 34u bet. Would need 41 to clear line.
Start a new line at 8? 3 5 = 8?
You can use fibo and not winning every bet and still win overall as you don't need to win every bet using fibo

TCS i did not want to offend you.
You know then all is fine - but i read so many topics about progressions and find it strange as flat betting is the same thing - if the last don't work then the first will not work.
The only thing we can hope for is to bet cycles or periodic events with progressions divide into different stages to hope that we can delay or overcome the negative expectation.
I am just sharing my old stubborn opinions in general.

I have tested Fibos before and played them.... in my opinion you have to limit them to 8 steps or so and take the loss on losing progressions..over all your way better off than trying to stretch them to 12-20 steps...TOO DANGEROUS in real play
