Happy New Year from sunny Manchester UK

RG.....stop betting immediately and regroup.

$400 is a fine lesson and a fine price to learn that lesson.

it should be the best $400 you ever spent.

I know the feeling.  :( I had a very good last 3 months, slowly making steady profit every day, then yesterday the hit didn't come, I went crazy with the progression and lost twice the amount I made in the past three months. A terrible way to end the year.

Happy new year form me too! And good luck at the tables!

"Our Turner" was rather endearing..thank you!
Mr Turner is played by one of my fav actors..Timothy Spall. He was good in "Pierrpoint - Executioner"
He's also good in the Wickes adverts...."Its got our name on it...Wickes ! " lol

Happy new year from the north west of England.
Timothy Spall is a great actor Turner, agreed. I doubt if he'd count the Wickes ads as his finest work though!
I don't think I've ever seen him in anything and not enjoyed it.
Anyway, good luck to all, best wishes.

Happy New Year from the Sonoran Desert,                 Southern Arizona,                          Tucson to be exact.

We actually got a sprinkling of snow last night.

Since no one knows how to drive in snow here, I'm staying home!

Good Luck To All!

George

I just wanted to share that after a bad year ending, I'm having a very nice year beginning. I am finally back to point I was on the 30th of December. :) Took me 5 weeks, played almost every day, and did not have a single losing session. I hope it's not due.  :P
Good luck everyone!

ATI......as we are a community of gamblers, you will get a pat on the back and only good words for what you achieved after your Christmas disaster.

It isn't looked on the same from "normal" people though. They don't understand.

The key is to not repeat the disaster. <<<<<<<

Well done. its cheered me up

Ati what is the total amount of your progression?
You say you win much with no losing and then one day the progression fail and you lose it all back - that is horribal.

I been looking into that and woundering if there is a solution.
I am at moment testing regression.

For example, lets say i have a progression that coust me 32 units.
If i divide that into four i get 8 8 8 8.
So if i win twice 16 units i won half the progression - then there is no need to continue playing the original with 32 units and sooner or later lose it all back.
Then split the base bet into half and you operate with casino money.

That is pretty cool idea but i am not sure if it works - i am still testing.
But 25% win goal is cool and small and easy to reach twice.
And split base bet to half is also easy.
For example if minimum is 10 Euro for high and low - then you could play the three lines with minumum 2 Euro for each line - total of 6 Euro - there is many ways to tweak and play minimum.

Just wanted to share.

Cheers

Well, most people wouldn't like my way, as I play with pennies, and a relatively big roll. It is most suitable for the BV rng.
I only play 3 inside numbers, so my progression gets uncomfortable after around 35 spins, which is a 400 units drawdown, therefore it wouldn't be good for live play, with 1 euro min bet and such. However, 90% of the time I hit within 25 spins, so normally I don't have to bet more than 4 units on one number. On a good day it is possible to win 300+ units in half an hour. That would equal to 3-4 hours live play.
You can win many times small amounts with most of the systems posted here, the hardest part is to avoid that one big loss. You have to be prepared for everything, make rules and follow them. I'm not saying I can do that, as I mentioned earlier I lost big just over a month ago. You know, maybe it's only 150 euro, but that's 15000 units for me. If it works small, it can work big. And the other way around. Actually I tried the same with play chips starting from $20000, and I was able to win over $10000 in about 10 hours, without risking to lose it all.
In my opinion if someone actually wants to win money, the first step to do is stop coming up with new ideas every 5 minutes, find the system that is suitable for you, and try to make the best out of it.
Unfortunately I cannot provide anyone with a holy grail, maybe it was just a lucky January, but I have proven to myself many times, that it is very possible to win with discipline, patience, and some luck of course. :)

If it works small, it can work big.

the first step to do is stop coming up with new ideas every 5 minutes

First quote:  "It" can, but can you?  Remember the old TwoCat maxim:  The more you bet, the more you sweat!

Second quote:  Who would that be??
