Title: If there were only 17 black numbers...
Post by: Let Me Win on Dec 12, 09:28 AM 2012
Would I always win long term betting on red?  Assumes 18 red numbers and a single zero

If this is the case then play as follows...

Track all spins until either 17 separate red or black numbers have appeared then bet the opposite colour for one spin rinse and repeat.

I think it is almost impossible to find the set of spins where the single number of the colour which has yet to hit appears on the very next spin.

Therefore if one assumes that for the next single spin only the missing number will not appear then in effect one would be betting with 18 numbers v 17

Probably a better method of doing the same thing and much faster and easy to test would be to track 36 spins then bet the opposite colours for the next 36 spins'

Assuming almost every time the same numbers will not show on the same number spins as which happened in the first 36 spins.

u limit yourself. Imagine a casino where u wanna place a bet on 10 numbers. Then comes a pitboss and tells "I do not allow you to place bet on 10 numbers. For now You can place a bet either on 2nd dozen or red or high". Would u play in such a casino? I don't think so. Now when u wanna bet on red or black only, u behave as if You have this "pitboss" inside your mind. You have myriads of unique opportunities to bet, but your prefer to limit yourself by only few. Outside bets are very good bets...for outsiders.

As even money bets are where the house edge is at its smallest I don't see the point in any other type of bet.
