Hollandish Boffins Bet

I thought I was finished with bet progressions, but I guess I never will be.

Here's one that has me pretty excited.

I hope at least one person out there uses this method to good advantage.

We're going to use the Hollandish method which is recovering one level by betting at the next level.  And you can't go to the 3rd level until you recover all losses in the 1st level.

The twist is that we're going to be using the Boffins bet or the Let-it-ride bet.  That means that if we win a 3 unit bet we leave all 6 units on the table for our next bet.  If the second bet wins, we have 12 units to take back.  We remove our original 3 units and we won 9 units.  We can figure it as 3 times our bet.

We begin by betting 1.  If we lose the first bet we write a 1 on our recovery line.  If we win and then let it ride and lose, we write a 1 on our recovery line.  And we bet our second 1 again.  We do this until we finally lose three 1's.

Once we have lost three 1's (that means we lost on either the 1st or the let-it-ride bet) we begin betting 2 units.  A let-it-ride win on a 2 unit bet nets us 6 units.  This wipes out 6 1's.  Since we only have 3 to recover, a win nets us 3 units.  If we bet 2 and lose either the initial bet or the let-it-ride bet before we recover the 1's, we write the 2 down to the right of our 1's.

Once our 1's are cleared, we start betting 3 units.  A 3 unit win and let-it-ride recovers four 2's with a +1 profit.

Our progression is 1-1-1-2-3-4-6-8-11-15-20-30-50

Each level starting with 3 recovers 4 of the previous losses plus some profit.

This is a pretty strong recovery method.  With a good bet selection you shouldn't lose a series very often.

Our buy-in is 150 units and that's our stop loss also.

Test it with your favorite even chance bet selection method and see how it does.
