I notice that the w3m scam website has been acquired after the previous license expired recently.

The website :.ic3.gov will be instrumental in bringing justice to CEH and cronies.

Well 2 weeks on and I am surprised no-one has commented on this link and the current link on the old website. Is everyone so 'over it'? Could a similar sequence of events repeat?
Would be interested in your thoughts.

hm, maybe there is no response because people just  want to forget about w3m and  prefer to consider it as case closed?  :-\

I guess scams like this happen again and again on the net and also in the "real world". so it's probably just a matter of time for something similar to happen.

still I hope police sooner or later gets hold of the hampshire bunch.

cheers

Yes Hans thanks for that. I think you are right.

I have decided however to contact the FBI with key details as it cost me $360 GBP and if everyone went passive there would be no justice, and no law. For all the evident experience and knowledge of these fraudsters, the fact that they took the 'high moral ground' in terms of claiming to be so green and fraternal, added to their culpability.

I am still astonished that so many are in a sleepy twilight zone on this matter.

By filing my complaint I was directed to 'Vincent' who is a member of a group who has taken over the old website.

It turns out Vincent is a member of a group styling itself PIC - Private Investors Club

Clearly linked to the original scam however indirectly.

Do your own searching.

I have now reported the entire file with latest twist to the FBI -ic3.  Direct.

The so called Professional Investors Club appears to have all the characteristic smooth elitist scam bubble hype of the original PPPCWealth, and I suspect the curious link on the old website was to measure the extent of current public awareness and concern in formal complaints to the original scam.

They must really think little of the intelligence or will to refuse criminal behaviour in society, and in particular of the internet.

Alertness and to be always vigilant is necessary for our freedoms.

Good job. My friend was scammed by them also.  I hope justice will be served.

It hardly is... This kind of scammers are good in what they do, and justice is not very concerned with them (not enough to put the required effort to get them anyway). So they usually change "business model", websites, addresses, names, etc.... and start all over again, sucking peoples money with false claims again and again... I have saw this in many domains, forex, investments, etc...  Always offering irrealistic returns for some money invested or products that don't even get near our  expectations (influenced by them)...

Word of advice for everyone is: If it's too good to be true, then it probably is not true... And the more money it requires from you, higher the probability that it really is a scam.

Yes Vladir. sadly, what you say is very very often true.

However do not take the view that action or initiative is not worthy. The scales have to be balanced. We must be pro-active and not passive.

I have received encouraging comment from the FBI team and actually my correspondence with the new Professional Investors Club has also been very interesting. That story continues.

Regarding the old cliche regarding 'if its too good to be true then it probably is' which is usually stated by self satisfied and conservative financial advisors, disregard it.

Make your own evaluations, and if you fail you fail but you will have tried.

I have seen such financial advisors who use such rhetoric advise their clients to put money into 10% pa interest rate funds with finance companies. Several years down the track and their clients who were so naive to accept this advice have lost their life savings and the advisers have gone back into the woodwork. Yet do you think 10% per annum is such an outrageous claim? Yet a whole 'industry' collapsed when the property price bubble exploded internationally for individuals trying to climb 'the property ladder'.

You could have gone to the nearest casino and made a very conservative plan to make 10% per week.

Which would you have said was the more outrageous claim?

There are several writers in this Forum who could achieve the casino goal.

It is one thing to say in principle it is possible, and another to do it, achieve it. But why not?

I completly agree. I'm not saying that returns of 10% aren't impossible. Don't limit yourself up and think for yourself. bhat happens when you apply some critical thinking is that you usually come to the conclusion that those "programs" sold out there are scams.

Keep a watchful eye on the Canadian based Private Investors Club -International.

They offer some great investment ideas it seems, and I wish them well.

But why are they so interested in roulette, and why were they so keen to 'help' the 'victims' of the w3m scam.

That scam cost me 'only' 360 GBP.

However I have filed a complaint with the FBI and other organisations that have jurisdiction over such crime.

However it is fair to say the knowledge and experience that those scammers put out over a couple of years was clearly based on some real and very valuable, probably successful professional play. Many have paid much more than that sum on dud systems with no value.

Despite all the rhetoric from the smart guys who love to tell you they saw it all coming, I don't regret my attempt to join with PPPCWealth as the values espoused were just fine. The sad and ironic comedy is that the individuals behind the scam did not mean any of it, and were simply manipulative on a grand scale. That they used higher values to try to justify their cause will ensure they will eventually pay a far higher price in justice.

What has come out of it that was superb is that it fired my own personal zeal to succeed and work as never before in research and in action to eventually genuinely assist others.

Those sad writers who can't see any way forward in the mists of roulette really need to switch attitudes because there is a universe of opportunities out there and the fraudulent efforts of a few can spark a reaction that has a righteous power behind it, to find solutions.

Also we need to be super vigilant over the suave claims of advertisers. Experience is a wonderful teacher. There are many organisations that make bold and wonderful claims we want to believe.

This is the driving force behind fraud and why 'victims' fall for it all the time.

The way to fix this is at the root. Prove it for yourself rather than rely on a third party. Be 'healthily' sceptical always. Once you have demonstrated a principle yourself then you can expand the efforts and involve others with true confidence.

Then you will have truly powerful forces consistently on your side, and you won't be forever looking over your shoulder as is the fate of the scammers and the fraudsters of this world.
