Any math wizards that confirm these numbers?
On a double zero wheel, spin until all numbers come up.
Count how many spins it takes until the next number comes up.

For example, If the following numbers came up
2
10
12
12
14

Four numbers came up, and 14 took 2 spins to appear after the 3rd number 12 came up.

The following is the average number of spins it takes for the next number to display using 10 million trials.

1) 1
2) 1.026848
3) 1.055713
4) 1.085443
5) 1.117322
6) 1.151022
7) 1.187317
8) 1.226022
9) 1.267451
10) 1.310417
11) 1.357984
12) 1.40847
13) 1.461565
14) 1.520706
15) 1.58364
16) 1.650701
17) 1.727872
18) 1.8086
19) 1.897021
20) 2.00035
21) 2.10782
22) 2.238503
23) 2.378271
24) 2.531304
25) 2.713461
26) 2.922626
27) 3.166293
28) 3.454441
29) 3.803622
30) 4.216614
31) 4.750645
32) 5.439951
33) 6.342094
34) 7.62275
35) 9.486869
36) 12.676807
37) 18.986925
38) 38.014091

So if you wait and play the last 8 numbers, then on average it should win in 4.750645 spins?

Not just the last 8, but any 8 numbers at any time, because 38/8 = 4.75.
Logic. It's always in the way.

If you look in real roulette spins; look for the non-hit time tables.
Look at the average to it line. You will see the same.

Even the Generals 10330 spins he supplied gave what you show.

Repeats show in blocks of 10 spins as 1-3-5-7; and at 60 spins 30/60

All available if members look. Even Bago should look as he might know what's going on.

now knowing how they hit on average helps.

So if 1-3-5-7 for repeats is average; can you win?

Bago just what happens. Oh yes it's designed for me to win, not lose, idiot

Thanks Joe,

That is interesting. Okay, one more question.

Looking  closer at line 30 shows the count for how many spins it takes to hit.
If I wait for 8 spins to not hit the last 8, then play the 9th spin, it should hit 91.21% of the time.

The question is.
91.21% of the time I will win $27
8.79‬% of the time I will lose $8

What is a good percent win, to percent loss? Is it as simple as multiplying the percent by the money and seeing which is higher?

Thanks, I googled "Generals 10330 spins", and it went to a post "Just for Rona" and I wasn't able to see the posts.

This is what confuses me.
Case 1: 20 spins no repeat, so you bet the 20 numbers.
Case 2: 20 spins no 5 repeats, so you bet 15 numbers.

Case 1 has a better chance to win because you bet 20 numbers instead of 15. If the next 10 spins are all repeats, do you have the same chance of winning if you bet the 20 numbers?

Some people say roulette has no memory, and the odds are exactly the same. But clearly over many spins, there are minimum and maximums to repeats.

What's not to understand?

Is using past performance a valid way to improve odds, or is the stats on the current spin the only valid way to improve odds? Given a perfectly balanced wheel and no computers.
