I don't fully grasp it - could you give one example - thanks ...
Denial of gamblers fallacy is usually seen in people who has Roulette as last option for a way to wealth, debt covering and a independent lifestyle.  Next step is pretty ugly-
AP - It's not that it can't be done, but rather people don't really have a clue as to the level of fanaticism and outright obsession that it takes to be successful, let alone get to the level where you can take money out of the casinos on a regular basis. Out of 1,000 people that earnestly try, maybe only one will make it.

Thanks Tomla,

100 steps if your down say 12 units look left to -12 so the bet is 4 if win you have 8 total units on the table add 4 bet the whole thing if win your 4 units up......if lose your - 8 on that ,, add to 12 now -20 so you look there and go again with a 6 unit first bet......

Sorry - got it wrong. You never would need 100 steps.

I think this would work with the wrangler march .

i think its about a 100 units down on total loss....Im sure GLC has seen this and analyzed it before he is "Da Mogul of Money Management"

Tom,  I have been looking at your progression.  It's very interesting.  It takes more than 1 win to fully recover.  I think that you should move 1 step down the progression on a loss and shoot for two wins at each level working your way back up toward 1.  Anytime you reach a new high bank, re-set back to the 1st 1.

If you get too far down, you can always go to a 3 step formation.

1 step is nothing more than +1-1 or D'Alembert.
2 step is your progression  1=2  then 2+1=3= 6 -2 = +4
3 step is 1=2; then 2+1=3=6; then 6+1=7=14 -3 = +11

That would be +11 with 3 in a row or -1 on a loss on the 1st bet, -2 on a loss on the 2nd bet or -3 on a loss on the 3rd bet.  Any loss moves you to the next level.

In order to recover fully on 1 win using your method you need to use the following progression:

1-1-1-2-2-3-4-5-7-9-12-16 etc...

Warrior's right, 100 steps should never be necessary, but who knows.

Nice idea.

George
In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!

Ive been playing this for real (Ive altered it a bit),,, It's been great so far...If I get stuck further into it I go back on the list to win half of what ive lost to that point.....after a double win I will play for another double win to clear the other half out.......Keeps me from getting too deep

Tom,

i'm trying to get my head around how you play your progression. Can you show a quick example how you do it?!

i use a labby, modified marty or gr8player into it... but ok say im down $200 i will then go into it : I bet $40 (4 on the chart), If I win i leave the bet on the table and add $40 out of pocket, a double win gives me $240 so i cleared out and pocket $40.. if lose second bet I would be down $280 and my next bet would be $50...
If i had lost the original $40 I would be down $240 and my next bet would be $45

It takes a bit to bend your mind around it ---so feel free to ask

got it! thx...i guess if one can find a bet selection where the longest losing streak without 2 consecutive wins is 15 spins  :sad2:  this one is a go-go.

Tomla021

oh this will go longer than that,,, i have beaten 18 terrible hands of baccarat with it easy,,,,,,,now my new thing is when I get deeper in the hole I back off egz: say im at 580 down, needing a $100 bet to clear (I am only using the bigger amounts because thats how i have my cheat sheets for casino set up) I will usually back off to a $55 dollar bet to clear $330 off. After clearing I decide to go for another repeat win for $300 or not (very player flexible)........The two bet selections I use seem to bounce back to some decent hits after a lull.---so far its been great and ive cleared my expected loss on a failure a few times so I feel pretty comfy even if I have to or decide to take a loss now    Not the Holy Grail or anything but I like it for now
