Thinking about the LOTT and the cycles gave me this idea which I have not seen before. It revolves around the lead number. So for example...number 3 comes up on spin 5 and spin 12....it's the only number to have come twice, so it's the lead number. Now number 27 appears on spins 15, 18 and 21. No other number has appeared 3 times and so number 27 is now the lead number.  I ran of loads of tests and the lead number stays in the lead very often or when a new number takes over, that new number can stay in the lead for a while. Then I thought how about if I split this idea up into dozens. So there is going to be a lead number in all three dozens.....how will that go? So I ran a few games and here are the results. The average spins to reach the 10th hit is around 150.

Hello Winkel and thanks!

I am always trying to think of ways to use the hot numbers with some of the 'non-random' concepts that Pryanka talked about. I will need to test this idea with a few other ideas and see if I can find a good fit. However, I must admit that I am starting to think that the elusive chase of pinning down a few numbers is maybe a waste of valuable time. The double edged sword of variance is not worth the price of winning a few extra chips now and again.

cheers
