This is all about getting each and everyone of those interested in the unique game of roulette to look at it in from a different angle, and join up a few rules/applications that we may have been using in isolation.

So Reyth on Roulette30 used this same ploy with the veiled "generating ideas" approach.

About 15 pages into his testing of the Kav bet strategy he stopped posting his daily totals. I called him out and asked why; his answer "this is just an experiment- no need for a win/loss record or total". The thread started to peter out, and then right after Kav offered his system for sale (to the day actually) Reyth stopped posting on that thread and became a Mod.

But why don't we all just post whatever we want? Any idea helps right? All discussion is good right?

I’ve been reading this thread since it started, and it’s something which has got me thinking somewhat (slightly) differently about roulette, which in my opinion, is a good thing, certainly for me anyway...when I log in and check this thread, I’m not expecting a detailed breakdown of an HG, as I don’t believe there is such as a thing as ONE HG...., however, I believe, you can find something which suites your style of play, by a different way of looking at things, and as PA advised, you can have your OWN HG, which will be different from what someone else does/likes, I believe you have to get a “feel/understanding” for what’s going on around you, during your play, although, the hard bit is trying to get that “feel/understanding”, to me this thread (and other threads, and posters on the forum) are helping me with this.

As an example, I think there are some good EC systems on the forum based around betting DSs, which give quite consistent W/L ratios, therefore, using the examples both Atlantis & PA have posted, can this maybe make them win more consistently for me, I don’t know, however, I enjoy trying to find out though.

And, to now sound controversial, if you don’t like the thread, why bother reading it...guys, there is plenty of stuff on the TV which I don’t like, therefore, I don’t watch it, yeah, it’s on the TV guide when I’m checking to see what’s on, do I select it, of course I don’t, why would I waste my time watching c**p like that, however, what I think is c**p, is another person’s enjoyment/entertainment, and so it should be, they are entitled to indulge themselves in what I think is c**p, and I’m sure they would think some of the stuff I watch is c**p, and so they should.

Agreed. Marti is not going to be an answer for a HG... If you KNOW the results beforehand like he showed it is EASY then to reverse engineer... BUT in real play YOU DON'T KNOW what going to happen!
I think what he's setting out to show you here is just how dangerous it could be to actually use a progression such as marti, I mean just think if there were a few more LL's in those strings... And the thing is you do get these long horrible losing runs.

I would wait for next preachment when he may elaborate further.
