Title: MAKE A LIVING FROM ROULETTE???
Post by: Maui13 on Jun 02, 02:43 AM 2011
OK,

Last night I thought about it, so I'm just going to come out guns blazing...

Who in this forum, if anyone, is currently making a living from roulette?   ???

If you are, please tell us your success story! This might include, your methods, your bankroll you started with, casino's you visit (be it online or land based) an average of daily "income"
Share anything you feel might be of interest in doing so.

Regards,
Mauricio

Something that most of us have wondered at one time or another.

Don't be surprised if there's a deafening silence... ;)

Ok, lets maybe give 2 options here:

1. Make a living playing roulette daily

or

2. Make some nice extra cash daily playing roulette

Mauricio

Theird option:

Somebody might know how to beat roulette but stay away from them for circunstances like
lacking the money to build a proper bankroll and/or family disputes because of the game (past time he used to be a loser, learning the hard way to beat roulette).

Cheers,
Carlos.

Haha @ Twister !!!

@ Carlos, well that's an option too. If someone learned the hard way, why not share that experience to help others overcome the same hurdles without going through the same problems? Thanks for your reply!

Mauricio

Ok, to make this easier on everyone, why not just have a thread where people can just list what the current system play they're using to show a profit for the month or year?

If you find that 15 out of 20 players are using "Uncle Milty's Roulette Super System" then everyone could then work on the details of making it better for everyone.

Then the problem with this becomes when someone posts a message saying they're using "Sam's Club Roulette" or something they bought on eBay, then the yelling and shouting about scammers, sellers, shills, and various name calling starts up and the thread goes downhill from there, even though the original poster may actually be winning!!!

So, perhaps we need a well moderated thread of who's winning with what on a monthly basis and go from there?

Good plan ADulay

Just kidding, very funny name!

AD, the red highlighted area is the part that's so hard to do.  Most of the time, when someone posts a system that they are playing and winning with, we swarm it like a flies on honey and start tweaking it this way and someone else tweaks it that way and then I post a modification that takes the system in another direction and then someone asks for clarification of current method of play and 6 people post the method of play and they're all different etc...etc...etc...

I'm as guilty as anyone.  I don't think we can do anything about the above sequence.  We just have to live with it I guess and hope every now and then someone finds something that works for them and they stick with it.

Maybe the old saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" comes into play here.

If you're serious, here are the 3 keys for long term play and profit. No joke.

1.  Extreme discipline.  It's boring.
2.  Exceptional patience.  It's boring.
3.  Follow Winkel's "win as much as you want" strategy (or a version of it).  It's boring.
(caveat: there are others that will do the trick, but this one is simple and works)

Don't have the bankroll?  Then get it.  If you are serious, you will find a way.  Do not even think about playing or walking into a casino or online thinking you are going to try or test something until you've got the bank.  Many of us can tell you from alot of experience.  Don't do it.

Don't have the patience or discipline?  Then quit now and don't waste your hard earned money.  Have fun with playing around, but don't put real money on the table.

Meanwhile, let's not forget the original question:

Who in this forum, if anyone, is currently making a living from roulette?   Huh?

If you are, please tell us your success story!

Most don't want to discuss this in public forums.  I play enough to cover the tuition costs of 3 college students in private universities in the US.  I play once a week.  It took me about 2 years to build the bank required to play.  Test while you're building the bank.  Time is going to pass regardless of what you're doing.  Get focused and make the decision to gain the discipline.  It's NOT easy.

I think this subject has been raised in the past too. However, I can say that I am earning a living out of roulette but frankly speaking this game is yet as volatile as ever. I have so many restrictions in deposits and withdrawals in online casinos, due to my Government's policies and land based casinos are so far from me, I have lots of discomforts these days in playing professionally. I get my earnings from roulette in three ways: 1. sale of my ebooks; 2. E-guidance to other players via skype; and 3. casino trips (soon I am planning one).
I am, however, missing the thrills and comforts of playing online for a few days due to the handicaps in deposits and withdrawals.
I can very openly say, I am a professional player.

There are to my knowledge only very few people who is actually making  a living from roulette.  Kaisan and his son is 2.   I know a team who has made a living from roulette for over 26 years (the oldest team member) and as i just heard the other day, is still going strong.   They play a mix of bias and VB and has the most extensive data base i have ever "seen" (peaked over the shoulder).  The manual the team is build over, looks like this with a few exceptions:

Advantages of the team play:
1.  A wheel can be tracked constantly by working in shifts.
2.  A wheel can be played in shifts, for maximum gain.
3.  The bankroll is bigger and the payout is larger.
4.  Tracking can be continue with a tracker at the same time a BP is hitting the table (2 people) so the BP don`t have to take notes.

Manual consists of:

Key names within the team.
Working area geographicly.
Member tests.  To protect the team bankroll, members should once in a while be skill testet under controlled conditions.
List of stats: Team members are rated as to their winnings.
On every casino trip, dealers are rated as A, B, C, and D.  D is unplayable.
Backroom MO if one of the team members is being backroomed.
Betting system for team members at certain conditions within a dealer shift.
General policy and procedures.
Team confidentiality agreement.
Quality assurance, each team member will be asked to sign a commitment contract.
Skill requirements for different level of team members.
Acceptable and non acceptable extra curricular activities for team members.
Penalties for policy violations.
Keying guidelines.
Betting guidelines.
Accounting, security and quality control.
Pay ates for team members.
Scouting work sheet, each casino is scouted to perfection before a team plays the casino.

How to scout key games, including everything from:
1.  Ball types
2.  Wheel types.
3.  Tilt dgree.
4.  visual bias.
5.  Conditions, +3 - 4 standard deviations only playable.
6.  Calling of NMB.
7.  Calculation of ROR and bankroll versus possible gain.

Daily updates on the wheel data.
Possible recalculation of data if maintenance has taken place.
Exit point should be fixed, so comparison of data is possible.
Thumper or other external devices might be a possible must, to ensure equal exits in between members.
Projecting the possible outcome of an average session, given the specific wheel data and NMB conditions.
Payout rates and intervals.
Kelly betting.
General information.

So do the average AP player has the spirit for this ? VB players tends to be 1 man armys where bias players, how rare they ever are, tends to play in teams since they have to keep an eye on things on a personal basis while accounting for clock and anticlockwise spins.

The problem for VB players is to share identical information.  I mentioned using the thumper as a device for getting equal measurements, but i must say i would rather incorporate a proper timer training to the point where we could leave the thumper in the drawer back home.

Well, maybe an inspiration for some to get together and for a syndicate.

Pay attention to scouting !!  I learned the hard way that scouts MIGHT be paying more attention to their own wallet rather than your wallet.   I have once travelled almost 1500 kilometers just to find that the reported conditions were no where near as good as reported.  What does it help if they call No More Bets when the ball is released and i need to be able to bet in the 5th or 6th last revoloution.   I was supposed to pay the scout a fee and a small percentage of the winnings, needless to say, i almost wanted him to pay me because his report could in all details has been made in a entirely different casino.  NOTHING matched.  He was just hoping for a quick buck before i was able to control the conditions.
