Odds and payouts are different things. If either the odds or payouts don't change, then the result is the same - eventual loss.

I was just trying this simple idea at Betphoenix, live play (fun money) and won 40 units.

1. Bet 1 unit on whatever Even Bet selection that seems favorable (streaks)
When not sure, bet on 2 Dozens, or 2 Columns (only once)

2. On a loss, bet 1 unit on an EBS, plus bet 1 unit on each of 2 Dozens (or 2 columns) for a total of 3 units.

3. Bring your bets to 2 units after two consecutive losses (but never more than 2 units). That's a total of 6 units.

Try not to bet on the Dozens/Columns where a sleeper just hit.

Good plan, Carsch, but BetPhoenix funplay and Real Money are two different things, beware. (I learned the hard way)

Carsch

Really? but it's a live dealer. But please, tell me more about it, Proofreaders. I'll usually only play on land casinos, but now i'm curious.   :(

Proofreaders2000

Once you place real money bets on the carpet the dealer will drop the ball in (instead of the revolutions first---or spin the wheel hardly at all (the wheel will come to a stand still before the ball lands---I've seen the ball all of a sudden drop into a 0 or 00 pocket--without warning or suddenly into a pocket without a chip)---Avoid this wheel at all costs!!

Carsch

But wouldn't there be more people placing bets? and not just you? Meaning they'd be doing it to the other players that were already placing real bets, no?

Yep! Even bet selection. I guess it should have been ECs.  ;D

Proofreaders2000

You would think, but I suspect it is a movie with an RNG playing in the background.

Carsch

Ah ah! Interesting. Who knows? I'll keep using the land casinos. That would be a good idea if they had a clock with the date showing on it somehwere behind the dealer.

Thanks Proofreaders.

Dear Proofreader,
what you are saying is just not possible with live dealers who participates in any sort of chat or address players with their names. The "movie in background" stuff that you are talking about is possible only in automated roulette wheels (slingshot wheels) and live dealer roulette with no chat, like dublinbet. But I do not think any casino can go for such a thing. randomness of a real wheel is more unpredictible than any RNG and is sufficient in itself to earn money.

Proofreaders2000

I agree Albalaha.  BetPhoenix (the one referenced in prior post) has no chat and I suspect it is an RNG with a movie showing a dealer spinning the wheel.  BetPhoenix is the only "would be" live wheel American residents have access to.

Monte Carlo

Conspiracy theories aside, do not play this with real money.  This progression alone will lose you a lot of money.

Your first bet is a coin toss since you have no logic as to what you are betting.
Your second bet.  If your e/c wins you are still down 2 units and if your col/div bet wins you are down 1 unit.
Your third bet.  if your e/c bet wins you are down 6 units and if the col/div bet wins your are down 4 units.
If you lose all 3 bets you are down 10 units.

You need to calculate total amount of all bets including the current one then subtract the winnings.

For those that do have access, Paddypower imo is the best Live Casino online experience only 2nd to dublinbet

The quality of the HD Live Feed is awesome as are the beautiful dealers  ;D
Its Set In Stone =)

I have a theory, Proofreader (if indeed, they're cheating people, which is quite possible as long as you can think of the possibility). It could be that the free play is live and not really a movie. And it could be also that, at the same time, they have another wheel with same background for live play where they do whatever they do to the game.

So, when you want to play fun money, you'll be sent to the live fun money wheel with a live dealer. When you want to play real money, you'll be switched to the live real money wheel and dealers.

Sometimes, logic may not be that important. I see people winning by just tossing chips. :)
However, i did say to follow whatever streak (or trend, or pattern, if you wish), that may be taking place. Ex: if there is a streak of Reds, then bet Red.

Don't forget, if you lose, double your bets (2 units)

I do however have a better idea (not much different from Phoenix's posted system and George's idea).

Bet 1u on an EC (+1/-1)
Lose and Bet 2u. on each of 2 Dozens  (+1/-5)
Lose and start over again, this time, double your bets on each play

Or

Bet 1u. on an EC (+1/-1)
Bet 2u. on an EC (+1/-3)
Bet 4u. on each of 2 Dozens (+1/-11)

Lose and keep repeating this same last session till you recover or you get ahead +1u.
