There will be a roulette tournament every month next year on Betvoyager, registration for the January event starts today. There are limited number of entries, anyone going to take part in this?
Rules can be found here.

Yeah, I saw that yesterday evening.

European Roulette

-2.7% before you even start, they must think we are stupid/mad/dumb, they will make a mint from players who partake, good luck to those that do.
There's only one way forward, follow random, don't fight with it!

Ignore a thread/topic that mentions 'stop loss', 'virtual loss' and also when a list is provided of a progression, mechanical does NOT work!

If you read further, you can see that the registration is free, and you get 20k chips for the start. It only costs money, if you want to buy extra time, or reload your stack. I'm sure the winner will be some crazy dude, who keeps reloading, betting big, and get lucky at the end.
To me the zero wheel doesn't really matter, because I mostly play that, and had about 3-4 losing days in the last 4-5 weeks, playing every day. I know the no zero would be better, but the 5 cent minimum is a bit too much for me. It may sound ridiculous, but I play inside bets with progression, and living in a poor country, I cloud easily lose days of salary in 15 minutes if I get an unlucky series, as 2-300 units drawdowns happen all the time.

Btw, if anyone playing the no zero game regularly, drop me a pm, I might have a trick for you to reduce the 10% fee.

the trick is to have to win more than 10%  ;)

Need some advice. It could have been easy money, but I screwed up this tournament, because I hit the table limit 3-4 times, and was forced to take those losses.
Starting stack was 20000 chips, I was down to 9500, and currently at around 15000. The last person in the money has 20500. So with the current standings I need to win at least 6000 chips. I have one hour of free play, and 5 hours till the tournament ends.
The table limit is only 400, and I could not do better than winning 1500 chips in one hour, without risking of hitting the table limit.

So my question is, what would you play to win the most?

By the way, the first place has 367000 chips, which is insane, the second got 160000, and they didn't play every day. The second guy had 96000 on the first day. I have no idea how they did it, when the table limit is only 400, the max you can play is 3 hours/day, and you can only buy 4000 extra chips/day.

I read the rules, seems like a fairly interesting series of tournaments. Seems the rules have changed though - now you can buy extra time anytime during the tournament's duration, not only during gameplay .

-2.7% doesn't mean anything because the game gives you 10,000 chips for free. also, there's a no zero roulette tournament on the 17th of april. im pretty sure that game has equal odds  ;)

Yeah, they have changed some of the rules. And now about 20 out of 30 winning players only get bonus money.
I strictly advise anyone to accept the bonus, unfortunately I did in January, and I have to wager 3800 Euro, but since roulette only counts as 50% I actually have to wager over 7k!! Being a penny player, that's quite a lot. I'm only at 12% after 2 months. I'm planning to make a couple large bets when a very rare event happens, but I want to make sure I don't lose, so the trigger can take weeks to come.
Overall these are fun, and I won over 100 Euro cash so far.

My congratulations, ati, with the cash winning. I am going to participate in tomorrow's tournament on No Zero roulette. Want to catch one of big prizes)

Thank you Jes, and good luck to you. I'm also going to play tonight. Unfortunately the rules changed to make it a real gamble, and to make the players spend more on extra time and chips.
The first tournies lasted for days, 1 hour free time every day, 20k starting stack, etc. Now it's only 10k and 20 minutes free time.
The luckiest players will win the big prizes. I will bet the maximum on inside numbers, and hope I get lucky. 20 minutes or even 1 hour is not enough for a proper system play.
But till the buy is free, I'm not complaining. :)

ati

Once again!! DO NOT ACCEPT ANY BONUS MONEY!! These fukking thieves just stole half of my bankroll, because the bonus has expired! I didn't just lose the bonus, but everything I won since the bonus started!!!
I had no idea it going to expire, they didn't even warn me, or show any date on the bonus progress page. I would have made a couple of large wagers on 35 numbers if I knew it going to happen!
