As I understand the play method you're not going wrong.

It means when the wins come from betting the furthest you'll never win an instant repeat.

just imagine betting any outside E/C bet FTL......and this bet is same expect it is
done with in nines.

I think I have figured it out............

Last Nine             Furthest 9
1                                  10
2                                  11
3                                  12
4                                  13
5                                  14
6                                  15
7                                  16
8                                  17
9                                  18

Ready to play....................................................

Let's assume I bet the last nine and the 15 split hits. I lose. My chart would look like this:

Last Nine             Furthest 9
                                    10
2                                  11
3                                  12
4                                  13
5                                  14
6                                  The 15 is now the newest of the last splits.  It moves to the bottom of the last column
7                                  16
8                                  17
9                                  18
15                                 1  The 1 was the oldest of the last.  It is now the newest of the furthest.

I am now betting for the furthest splits.  My chart would look like this:

Last Nine             Furthest 9
X                                  10
2                                  11
3                                  12
4                                  13
5                                  14
6                                   X
7                                  16
8                                  17
9                                  18
15                                 1

Assume I won X number of times on the furthest nine.  Nothing changes with each win.  The change comes when the last nine hits.

Referring to the chart below, I get a loss on furthest 9 when a last nine hits.  The oldest of the furthest 9, the 10, becomes the newest of the last 9.  Then the newest of the last 9, the 2, becomes the oldest of the furthest 9.

LAST 9   FURTHEST 9
X                  X
X                 11
3                 12
4                 13
5                 14
6                  X
7                 16
8                 17
9                 18
15                1
10                2

As best I can understand, the furthest splits remain the furthest when they are hitting.  The change only happens when the chop comes.

Anyone care to comment until FLATman can log on again?

Sam,

I thought that the list of last 9 numbers was updated after every spin, so in effect if you had a list of the last 18 numbers spun the newest 9 would be the last and the remainder would be the furthest.

Quote from: F_LAT_INO on Aug 08, 12:25 PM 2012

Sam I know may look difficult, but you will laugh when you master this....important,after every new number the furthest is erased.....always having 9 numbers on the board....must first learn to read these 18 splits as 18 numbers....that's most important

The "9 numbers on the board" always being considered as the last. I interpreted "the furthest is erased" as being the oldest of the nine numbers "on the board".

I'm confused.

Trebor

Simply FTL/either last 9 or further 9,as when you get further/which is now swapped places with one
st.in last 9,which goes to further 9/while furthers continues to repeat you always on them....had
yesterday 14 repeats on furthers/airball live for money/couse as furthest are hiting, lasts becomes
furthers.

Let's see if you and I can agree on this.  Below is the last nine.

1
2
3
4
5
6
7
8
9

I bet and get a hit on split 7.  My chart would look like this:

1
2
3
4
5
6
7
8
9
7

I then get a hit on the 2.  My chart would look like this:

1
2
3
4
5
6
7
8
9
7
2

Is that what you're saying in your post?

I think so Sam.  Carrying on we've got

1
3
4
5
6
8
9
7
2

Then if 10 hits we lose the 1

1
3
4
5
6
8
9
7
2
10

We then bet the furthest.

1
11
12
13
14
15
16
17
18

What do you think?  And what does F_LAT_INO think

I see you put the 1 at the top of the furthest.  That would mean it is the oldest of the furthest to me.  I feel it should go at the bottom.  Since it was the most recent to become the furthest, it is the newest of the furthest.

Maybe this "newest/oldest" is where I'm going wrong.

Maybe position only matters in the "last" column.  Perhaps the "furthest" can be in any order.

FLATman cannot log on.  I don't know what he thinks of all this.  Probably sorry he ever started the thread!!

I am pretty sure that what you 2 guys have wrote in the above 2 posts is spot on. At least that is the way that I would do it and it makes perfect sense.

Here is the kicker.  FLATman has told me that when you win on a furthest split, it does not join the last splits by virtue of being hit.  You can hit it three times in a row as furthest.  How is that possible?  As soon as it hits, it becomes one of the last to hit.

Yes, that's what I think Sam. It's only the last nine that need to be recorded in order.
The "furthest" are always just the numbers not in this "last" list.

Trebor

You have to knock the 1 out because it is the furthest back and you can not have any more than 9 splits. The confusing part which takes some getting used to is that you now have to bet the 1 because it is part of the missing 9 even though you just knocked it off.

ok.. well now I am confused.  :-\

I wrote my reply based on something similar that I play myself and I suppose I should have read the thread fully and understood the rules. I gotta say it peeves me when you have threads run and run and still nobody fully understands how to play the darn thing. Anyone taking the time to share a system could at least spend a bit of time making it easy to understand or what is the point of sticking the thing up.

TwoCatSam

Here is the way it seems to me FLATman plays it:  When you're hitting on "last", trebor and I have it right.  You eliminate the split above and add it to the bottom.  Simple.

When betting for "last" and "furthest" comes, place that split number at the bottom of the "last" column.  Move the top split number from "furthest" to the bottom of the "last" column.

Now we know what to do when betting "last", win or lose.

__________________________________________________________________________________

When you are betting for "furthest" and win, do exactly as you do when you win on "last".  Erase the split number above and move it to the bottom.

When you lose on the "furthest", move the split number just hit (last) to the bottom of the furthest column and the top split number from the "furthest" column to the bottom of the "last" column.

___________________________________________________________________________________

That's the only way I can see it.  I've spent many hours on this.  I could play it either way.

I need to read the thread from start to finish before I confuse myself further.
