The only way to beat roulette is by increasing accuracy of predictions (changing the odds). This is possible on many real wheels.

I asked this question on betforum.cc and didnt get a very helpful response, just accusatons, so I will ask it on here and see what happens.

I am trying to work out all the outside bet table movements possible and was wondering if any of the more experienced players have already worked it out to save me the time working it out myself.  My thoughts were, why reinvent the wheel if it has already been done.

Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum, Muggins.

Your question is a little vague.  What do you mean by table movements?

Red to Black, Black to Red, Red to Zero, Zero to Red etc... seems obvious so you must be thinking of something else.

GLC
In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!

muggins

Thanks for answering GLC, what you have mentioned is what I mean, it may seem obvious which is why I am asking. I think I have it but was wanting to see if I maybe missed some.

This is a phrase that was coined by Charles. The fact that you are looking at Outside bets, means that you have misunderstood his advice.

“Now you should look in detail at all the moves that happen on a roulette table. (Not the wheel)  At first or even second glance you will perhaps not see them, because you are looking at all the conventional moves.”

By looking at the outside bets, you are looking at the conventional moves. You must look at the unconventional moves.
That's the way that I understand his "results across the table" statement.

Is this a question like how many times a dozen/Even chance misses on average before hitting again?

muggins

OK, clarification time.

What I am trying to determine is the movements that are available on the table, I probably have it worked out but thought I would throw it out there on the suggestion of a mate to see what the more experienced players think.

eg: a movement is: red to black, column 1 to column 2, dozen 1 to dozen 2.  These are the simple ones.  Are there ones that are not so obvious that can easily be missed?

What is an example of an unconventional move, is that what is being asked here?
The ideas on this board are like rough gems, they just need discovering and polishing.

Not sure what an unconventional move is, but it is not what I had in mind.  Just looking for all the different movements that are possible on the Table, not the wheel.  As I said I think I have them all, just checking.  Thanks for all the replies.

There are infinite combinations. But combination tracking historically never helped anyone beat roulette in the way you are referring to, at least that i know of

By my count the number is finite and not that many really.

eg Red to Black is a movement.  There can only be 9 different movements for the colors.

From the posts in here I can assume you are speaking about Charles bet.
The bet can and must be found by 1 person and not by a group of people working together.
The bet exists and its only for very hard and stabborn workers with a great sense of observation.

2 doz + 1 Col + an Ec=4 chips
But you have to have the formula that has 3 parts.

Its a trapping bet that traps the RUNS and the CHANGES...ring a bell?
