F_LAT_INO

I've read F LAT INO's system, but I'm having a difficult time following what he's saying.
In fact, I find it very difficult to follow the systems that members are talking about.

Any advice on how to get better without spending hours a day on what's supposed to be a past time?

[/quote]Canuck mate,

If you look on roulette as a past time/its not a game of chess/and if you
not practicing and improving your game/like in any other field/I'm affraid
you shall not get there. There are many good methods you can find on this
forum, and you must do it on your own.Do not let anybody scam you again.

What did I do wrong?

Was in a BM Casino.

Playing one unit on Dozen 1 or Dozen 3 Depending if the last number was low (1-18) or High 19-36.  And if I played Dozen 1, I would play 19-36.

Day 1. Got up as high as 8 units. And doubled my bets, because I was winning. Had one complete loss, losing 4 units. Left table for a drink. Went back twice and lost the other 4 units.
Left even for the day.

It gets much much worse day 2. Got up 4 units. Then I proceed to lose 24 units.(Not a lot of money, but it was the way I played that bothered me. I said when I went in. Stop loss at 5 units. I stopped at 6.  Took a few breaks. And ended up leaving down 24 units instead of just 6 units.

What do professional players do? Do they ride out losing streaks. Or do they just pack it in when it starts going away. Because one thing I know, one's luck always turns.

I really would value all input by experienced players.

Thanks.

What do professional players do?

1) Get the edge.
2) Identify and lower the unit value in losing streak periods.

Basically, you want to win more when you are in a winning streak, and lose the least when on a losing streak.

Thank you Victor.

Can you please clarify you reply, and may I make a supplementary question.
Tonight again, I got up, and I ended up being a loser again. Fortunately, it's money that I can aford, but it's so maddening because I was up.

When I was winning I did an attack bet and bet half of my units and lost.
So I think that I followed what you were saying.

So if I'm to understand what you're saying, in "Getting the Edge" you mean
bet more win winning and cut back to your smallest unit and build up again.

It seems like when I get ahead a substantial number of units, that I try to win back all that I've lost the past few sessions.

One excellent teaching method tonight was a machine with a minimum $5 bet, and it would allow me to bet inside for .50cents. It was quite illuminating, compared to always doing even or 2-1 bets.

It's not been a good roulette trip. Thanks for the advice. Any and all advice from experienced winners is  appreciated.
