Okay guys, its that time again. I ask this every 12-18 months and some of the answers are GREAT.

Which is the better choice?

Betting on 12 numbers for ONE spin or randomly picking 12 numbers, betting one at a time for 12 spins?

Or, its all the same, no difference. The 12 numbers (1 spin) would be evenly spaced around the wheel and NO, there is not a GOOFY wheel bias. (LMFAO)

I could ask something that I have NEVER added into this in the past. >> Those 12 individual spins/numbers, they are the 12 hottest numbers in the past 350 spins.

Remember, remember......"its all the same", correct?

Dear Ken,
Inside betting is more tricky, more rewarding and more frustrating too with compare to outside bets. Expecting a single number to appear within 12 spins is not a very wise idea. If I have been given a choice between the two, I will prefer to bet 12 numbers in one spin than betting 1 number for 12 times.
If I have 12 chips, I personally would not go for any of the two but rather randomly bet any two dozens/columns with 6-6 chips.

Depend on the circumstance.

If I want the best assurance of success on the next roll, then all 12 chips in play.

If I want to be able to take as many chips with 12 points, then bet on an invariable number in the following 12 spins.

If I'm smarter, I keep my 12 chips to the cashier and enjoy the money in food and ice cream...

Roulette is the hardest game and the more exciting for everyone because it is easy to operate and pays 35 to 1.

MrJ

Here has been my take on it for years. With the one spin, the BEST we can do is a win for +35 (gross).

Option 'B', at least we have a CHANCE for more than one hit, correct? It MIGHT turn out to be +70 (gross). Yes its a longshot but with option 'A', its IMPOSSIBLE.

You are right Ken. The hottest numbers often hit with six spins. In fact they act inside the law of thirds. They average from 14 to 18 hits per 300 spins. At 18 hits they hit every 16 spins on average. But they don't hit perfectly average. So hot numbers hit 22 times in 300 spins. That comes out to 13 hits on average. The best bet is 12 individual straight up bets on the hottest performing number in the past 150 spins.
I am the living proof that Roulette can be beat every time I set out to beat it.

i so agree
;)

mimoto

I would bet the last 12 numbers for 3 spins.

MrJ

I agree Gizmo. The issue however, is all in the wording. How can we say 'B' is better than 'A' if we constantly read........'its all random and we can NOT get any sort of an edge regardless of what we do". We have to look at definitions. The AP crew love to jump on threads such as this one.

Yep, the 12 numbers one at a time is the better option but you can NOT tell that to a person who does not think outside the box. I said it before, alot of people who agree with me on this will not agree via a post. For some reason, they dont want their name PUBLICLY attached to this thinking.

I think this is quite simple.

A) One spin (12 numbers), it is IMPOSSIBLE to get more than +35 (gross). Correct?

B) 12 spins (one number per), it is POSSIBLE (but tough) to get MORE than +35 (gross). Correct?
