Title: !!!!!!!!!!
Post by: GLC on Nov 09, 12:25 AM 2012
Bet 1 unit on the last Hi/Lo even chance.  So, if 22 spun, we bet 1 unit on High (19-36).  If 10 was the number we bet 1 unit on Low (1-18).
As long as we win, we keep betting 1 unit on follow the last.

If we lose, it means we will have had a hit on the opposite the last so we bet 1-1 on the 2 dozens that cover that even chance.  After a loss on our even chance bet we will always be betting the 2nd dozen and the follow the last dozen.  If we are betting on High and 14 spins, we lose 1 unit so we bet 1-1 on the 1st dozen and the 2nd dozen.  If we win, our next bet is 1 unit on follow the last even chance.

If we lose this 1-1 bet, it means the 3rd dozen hit.  Now we move +1 unit on our bets.  So we bet 2 units on the High even chance.  If it wins, we bet 2 units again and if it wins we have recovered our losses and are +1.  We drop back to 1 on the last even chance.

We play this D'Alembert style.  +1 on a loss of our even chance bet and our follow-up double dozen bet.  We must win 2 times on our even chance bet before we can drop back down 1 unit on our bet sizes.  Take note!  All our double dozen bets do is recover the loss of our even chance bets.  We only win units when we hit an even chance bet.

This is a great strategy. I tried this when I got the progression idea from mr. FLAT, (+1 on loss -1 on win on EC, and drop back to minumum bet when bankroll is positive) I thought I found the holy grail. ;D

Hi GLC,

Very nice little strategy is "!!!!!!!!!!"

Quick test on live wheel
+8 in 18 spins. Highest bet=1-1
[one ZERO hit which I just classed as a loser and moved on to next bet using the penultimate result as the trigger]

I like it a lot; and is easy to record and follow.

I will certainly play it.

Best regards,
A.

It is a fun little trot.

Seems to stay pretty safe most of the time.

I have had some draw downs that took a while to recover from, but nothing so far that got me too concerned.

Of course, this can be tweaked to death so take your best shot at it to make it fit your playing style.

I'm suggesting FTL, but you could play the penultimate or opposite the last or bet High only or bet Low only.

The progression can be tweaked also.  You can play matingale, fibonacci, pluscoup, +2, -2, bread winner, etc...  Oh yeah, maybe even a flat bet.

All we're trying to do is make the even chance our risk bet.  The double dozen bet is to recover an even chance loss at 1-2 odds.   If the double dozen bet loses, that's the end of that level and we move to our next level and play it exactly the same way, just at larger stakes.

A final thought, we can stay at the current level until we have recovered all losses and can reset to 1.  This is in apposition to the D'Alembert style where we recover just the previous level's losses.

I hate to add this caveat but for you who know me, you know that I'm very cautious when touting a system.  There's nothing here to guarantee a win every time.  It's just a high probability of a win each time we play it.  There will be losing sessions, so, as always, if you play for real money, set a stop-loss to prevent disaster.

29  Win.   bet 3 on high next        +3     +1
23  Win.   bet 3 on high next        +3     +4  You could have only bet enough to reach profit

14  Lose.  bet 4-4 on 1&2 next      -4       -9

3   Lose.   bet 7-7 on 1&2 next     -7        -59
35  Lose.  bet  8 on high next       -14      -63

This series of numbers shows us a lot.  First it shows that playing FTL loses every spin if the numbers are jumping from high to low to high to low etc...  This, as we all know, is the achilles heel of FTL.  That's why other bet selection options are up to the individual.  It also shows how we move from one level to the next.  It also demonstrates why it's a good idea to have a stop-loss.

I hope this is what you expected, Dino!

We know every system has a series of spins that will cause it to go deeper and deeper into the hole.

My question isn't can you show us how it can lose.  I can do that.   My question is do you now know how to play this simple idea?

dear George
probably we can use few different type of progression in the same game for different area of bet such as for even chance one progression, for dozens another prog. just an idea to give it best chance for succeed. in this case, smooth transition from one prog to another, bet amounts need to be synchronizes though.

Tom,
I was going to suggest that Gr8player's or bread winner progression ideas are my favorite lately.  D'Alembert style is fine, but very aggressive.  With big bankroll it's fine.  If we can stay ahead with flat bet, that's the best.  Triggers are okay, but I don't think in the long run they add that much safety.

We can always add another layer to it by starting with a 1 unit bet on a single dozen, if lose a 1 unit bet on the even chance, if lose a 1-1 bet on dbl dozen ( if win the 1-1 bet on dbl dozen, we can play the 1 unit bet on even chance again, if lose back to the 1-1 on dbl dozen.  A loss on the dbl dozen sends us to the 2 unit level or whatever your bet line calls for.

Example:
# spun         bet                                                  result            total
5                bet 1 on 1st doz next
10             win.  Bet 1 on 1st doz next               +2                 +2
22              lose.  Bet 1 on high e.c. next            -1                  +1
13              lose.  Bet 1-1 on 1&2 doz next        -1                     0
23              win.  Bet 1 on high e.c. next            +1                   +1
33              win.  Bet 1 on 3rd doz next              +1                   +2
20              lose.  Bet 1 on high e.c. next            -1                    +1
15              lose.  Bet 1-1 on 1&2 doz next         -1                    0
28              lose.  Bet 2 on 3rd doz next              -2                    -2
26              win.  Bet 1 on 3rd doz next              +4                   +2
24              lose.  Bet 1 on high e.c. next             -1                   +1
36              win.  Bet 1 on 3rd doz next               +1                  +2
25              win.  Bet 1 on 3rd doz next               +2                  +4
etc...

I tried something like this but just with 1 dozen then even chance (high or low) as a backup. Couldn't make it work but then that was maybe just me!  ;D

What I did notice was that when a chop starts to happen it can go on for many spins. So, maybe instead of just FTL all the time, once we have a chop for 3 or 4 spins we could start to FTC until it resolves and we start getting repeaters again and then go back to FTL?

Just a little idea that maybe you clever people could look into further.

Many thanks for YOUR answer Sam.....i'll take it at face-value !

In fact that LEGITIMATE session at Gala Casino dated 16-09-02 totaled 88 spins.

All i wanted from GLC was to know how the two dozen part of the bet progressed as i couldn't believe that session was that bad.

I only ever back-test using LIVE-DEALER B+M spins,NO online activity whatsoever and that includes AirBall.

Best Honest Regards.

Dino.

Another way to play it is to drop the idea of always betting on the 2nd dozen along with either the 1st or 3rd dozen.  Instead we can bet on the last 2 dozens to hit.  This will eliminate the death blow we get from chops.  Now, the killer will be no repeats in the last 3 spins.  The other possibility is to heed Nathan Detroit's advice to take enough bank to the casino to give yourself a reasonable chance to weather some bad streaks.

If you can't afford a bank to weather all but the worst draw downs, might as well flat bet.

Right on Wally.  Those are wins.  Sorry for the mistakes.  Got in too big a hurry while at work.   Still, the example does show how to play the system and if you're just playing FTL, chops are the nemesis.

Here's how to play this system.  stop-loss 100 units.
We're going to be betting e.c. and double dozen.

We bet follow-the-last on the e.c. bet and when we lose an e.c. bet we bet on the last 2 dozens to spin for the recovery bet.  A zero is just another loss.

Begin a pre-progression mode by betting 1 unit on the last e.c.  As long as you win the e.c. or the dbl doz recovery bet, you are in pre-progression mode.
As soon as you lose 3 units, that's 1 on e.c. and 1-1 on dbl dozen, we begin betting in groups of 10.  The loss we just had is number 1.  We continue to play 1 on e.c./1-1 on dbl doz until we reach our previous high bank or have had 10 bets.  Remember, a bet includes either a  win on a 1 unit bet on an e.c. or a loss or win on the 1-1 bet on the double dozens.  If we don't reach our previous high bank before we have 10 bets, we move to the 2 unit level if we are 3 or more e.c. bet sizes below our previous high bank.  (If our e.c. unit size is 1 that would be 3 or more units.  If our e.c. unit size is 2, that would be 6 or more units.  If our e.c. unit size is 5, that would be 15 or more units.)

So, if we were +3 from our pre-progression betting and we ended our 10 bets at +1, since that's not 3 or more units below our previous high of +3, we stay at the 1 unit level for another 10 bets or until we reach our previous high.  If we end our 10 bets series at -2, we are 5 units below our previous high of +3 so we must move to our 2 unit level.

At the 2 unit level we will be betting 2 on the e.c. and 2-2 on the double dozen recovery bet.  At the end of the 10 bets we evaluate our position.  If we're at -7, we stay at the 2 unit level because that's less than 3 e.c. bet sizes below the point we were at when we moved to the 2 unit level, which was -2.  If we end our 10 bets at -9, now we have to move to the 3 unit per e.c. bet level because we are 3 e.c. unit size bets below -2.  We're betting 2 units bets so 2X3=6 and 6+2=8.  Anything -8 and below means we have to move to level 3.  Anything above -8 and we would stay at the 2 unit level.

We can play a couple of ways.  One, we can move up and down the levels 1 step at a time until we work our way back to a new high bank, or Two, we can stay at a level until we either lose 3 bets more than we started the level at or we recover all previous losses and can reset to our pre-progression mode.

Number two is more aggressive than number one, but gets us out of the hole much quicker.

If you choose number two, you might like to increase your stop-loss to 200 units.

GLC

Unless I come up with something I think is brilliant, I will end this topic.  With my A.D.D. I can go on tweaking this thing forever.

Atlantis is my hero and he's been off-stage way too long.  If this is worth pursuing he'll take the bull by the horns, so to speak.  I'm all out of ideas. ( Well, almost. ::) )

A is a champ at trying to keep the bet sizes to a minimum.  That's what we need so we can all afford to play.

LOL,

Thank you for sharing.

Another "live" 2 player session with real spun numbers

I only reset both sides on a NEW HIGH in the bankroll.
If a bet for a same amount on both sides of an EC is called for then then I bet "virtual" (no bet)
If a bet for differing amounts on both sides of an EC is called for then I just bet the "difference"
This will be advantageous should a ZERO occur too...  :)
Here is my preferred recording of the session at SLC with low stakes:

17 Start number

12 p1 win 1; next  bet 1 on L            p2 lose 1; next bet 1-1 on d2/3          +0

Atlantis.

Hi all,

I completed a third live session today using GLC's original idea with my adaptation for 2 players.

Result= +7 in 55 spins.
Lowest bankroll = -8
Highest double dozen bet made = 4-4
Highest EC bet made = 4
Two ZERO's happened (once which caused a loss of 8 units when the bank was at +0 and once when the bank stood at +1 a loss of 4 units happened. Although I recorded the 4 loss the true loss would have been 2 due to "difference betting" and only 1 if "le partage" rule was in operation)

This was a longer session but does not bother me. There were many opportunities to quit with a lower profit e.g. +5...
What I like and it's refreshing about GLC's idea is that there are no big drawdowns happening with this *as of yet*.
Also no big double dozen bets like 27-27; 81-81 are being risked or required - nowhere near it!!

Just a matter of patience and grinding out a profit; being satisfied with small gains. Worth pursuing?
Yes, I think so - very much. :)

What you say, George?

Hi ashwinsinha,

Well Maan already said he lost 50 euro that way + look at this portion of number results from dino246 played the original way:

23 Start number
3   Lose.  bet 1-1 on 1&2 next        -1
35  Lose.  bet 2 on high next         -3
14  Lose.  bet 2-2 on 1&2 next       -5
23  Lose.  bet 3 on high next         -9
3   Lose.  bet 3-3 on 1&2               -12
35  Lose.  bet 4 on high next         -18
14  Lose.  bet 4-4 on 1&2 next       -22
23  Win.    bet  4 on high next        -18
3   Lose.   bet 4-4 on 1&2 next       -22
35  Lose.  bet  5 on high next        -30

Now the same numbers with the 2-player tweak:

23 Start number
3   p1 lost 1; next bet 1-1 on d1/2       p2 won 1; next bet 1 on H           +0
35  p1 lost 2; next bet 2 on H             p2 won 1; next bet 1 on L             -1
14  p1 lost 2; next bet 2-2 on d1/2     p2 won 1; next bet 1 on H             -2
23  p1 won 2; next bet 1 on H            p2 won 1; next bet 1 on L             +1 *RESET

3    p1 lost 1; next bet 1-1 on d1/2     p2 won 1; next bet 1 on H             +1
35  p1 lost 2; next bet 2 on H             p2 won 1; next bet 1 on L             +0
14  p1 lost 2; next bet 2-2 on d1/2     p2 won 1; next bet 1 on H              -1

********AMENDED DUE TO ERROR********

Reason: More protection + you can do virtual bets (no bets) and "difference bets" on EC wagers in the 2-player way.

There was an error in my results for the 2-player method with dino246's numbers above which I have corrected. It does not change the result at all, but will explain any confusion members had following the betting. The mistake was in the recording  - on the second spin number (#3 Red) in the chart.

Here is the corrected record again:

23 p1 first bet 1 on H                         p2 first bet 1 on L                        +0
3   p1 lost 1; next bet 1-1 on d1/2       p2 won 1; next bet 1 on H           +0
35  p1 lost 2; next bet 2 on H             p2 won 1; next bet 1 on L             -1
14  p1 lost 2; next bet 2-2 on d1/2     p2 won 1; next bet 1 on H             -2
23  p1 won 2; next bet 1 on H            p2 won 1; next bet 1 on L             +1 *RESET

3    p1 lost 1; next bet 1-1 on d1/2     p2 won 1; next bet 1 on H             +1
35  p1 lost 2; next bet 2 on H             p2 won 1; next bet 1 on L             +0
14  p1 lost 2; next bet 2-2 on d1/2     p2 won 1; next bet 1 on H              -1
23  p1 won 2; next bet 1 on H           p2 won 1; next bet 1 on L              +2 *RESET

3   p1 lost 1; next bet 1-1 on d1/2      p2 won 1; next bet 1 on H             +2
35  p1 lost 2; next bet 2 on H            p2 won 1; next bet 1 on L              +1

I cannot think why this topic dried up without further postings... It seemed promising idea to maybe grind out a few units.

I know what you mean A.  This forum is littered with promising systems.  A bad session for real money posted by someone and everyone realizes this is infallible, a new idea pops up, and we think the grass is greener over there.  (Maybe littered isn't the right word.  Kind of has a negative connotation to it.)

I have an idea.  Everyone quit posting new playing methods and all we can do is try to improve the best of the best that have already been posted.  Number of replys don't always indicate a "best" method because a lot of replies have nothing to do with the system.  I often go back to look at systems that show up at the bottom of a page because they're related to the current topic.  Some of them are surprisingly good!

Notto

I believe in ktf

It's evidentially a consistent winner

I'd take first profit and retract.
