... I'm coming to realize that banning people like JL/CEH/Fender won't stop it. People ALLOW themselves to be misled. The problem is not the people like JL. It is with the people.

From what I've seen, even if JL was misleading in his methods/approaches, finally people take the last decision to gamble.
Its true that JL approaches and especially his speaches are more pure human psychology  :smile:
Nevertheless I enjoy his methods/approach to this game, but I refuse to gamble until I have strong evidence that the method works.

If this fender guy scammed people in the past, then ban, ban, ban.  If not, then I could care less.  If people are really too dense to see that H.A.R. is not the answer (no matter the system), then all the power to JL/fender/whoever.

I can see where the poll is heading: Towards banning JL. And it is the right thing to do. As for CEH, it is definitely the same network AND area but I can't find exact IP match in archives. Only same network and area which realistically should be enough. But nevertheless ... after more consideration, I've decided to let this forum run free with all the free speech people want, all the manipulation and junk and so on. Why? To teach some people a lesson.

The people that understand basic facts will see right through the garbage. And if they don't, they only have themselves to blame.

Some people may never learn. Many, many times, people have claimed to have the method and their claims create a big whirlwind of gossip and nonsense ... and after testing, it all falls flat. THEN NOTHING IS LEARNED. AND IT HAPPENS ALL AGAIN.

I'll even allow alabalah back here. I won't interfere unless anyone tries to sell something as I won't allow scamming. But people can tell all the BS they want, and people can believe what they want and I won't try to help beyond trying to explain why 1+1=2.

I will say very clearly from what some of you have read, the ignorance and stupidity is ASTOUNDING. I am in awe of it and if it is any indication of the state of the world, it needs one huge bomb to land on it.

Agreed. Wendel is the classic example of this. But you can't compare JL with Wendel. For one thing, JL has actually posted many systems. His posted results may be exaggerated, but that was why I suggested a "challenge". After years of him posting almost unbelievable stats on his winnings, I thought it was time for some proof. I still think it's important that he pass that challenge, and if he fails then it will be pretty conclusive proof that he was indeed messing with our heads, and a ban will be fully justified. Also, I believe that if he'd declined to take the challenge, we would also have been justified in charging him with f**king with us.  ;D

Has it been that long? I thought the challenge started at the end of July. After a shaky start JL was doing pretty well but there were problems with the software, which was one of the reasons why it's taken so long.

I see the challenge thread has been re-opened. JL reckons he can double the current bank by the end of the year, how about banning him if he doesn't make that target?

As to the CEH IP thing, JL lives in London and may well use the same ISP as CEH, so I don't think it counts as proof "beyond reasonable doubt" if the area/ISP is a match.

I agree with you that if someone makes persistent claims that they are winning, and won't or can't show evidence, then this would count as 'manipulation'. But in that case, shouldn't they get a warning or two before an outright ban?

In my opinion, doubling the bankroll can mean something or not.  If you bet 100 on red and win--well who here is impressed?  Ralph would call that luck!   ;)

But if you place .5 bets, use no progression, and double that 100--well, you would have my attention.  (ugly bob's idea based on FLATman's splits is about to do that for me.)

It's not just doubling the BR, it's how you do it.

A person should not be banned, except for illegal behavior, or doing damage to any. I can not see JL did that, he just  did what many do, while publishing result, censored the not so good. They demanded proof, gave him a way, but it is not the fault of JL it were not working well.

I did never took the method seriously, but never question the result, as it is not impossible but very unlikely.

I have seen before, persons being banned because of winning claims. It is up to anybody to trust it or not, it is very hard to give proofs which stand 100%.

If his thread were full of posting, its shows people have like to investigate the method, some did and few found it bad, as as us sally they do not post anything which is not, Who lose?

The actual amount isn't what's important, this represents a gain of 400 units in around 6 weeks, using the min. stake of 5 cents. Not sure what the rule is for the max bet - superman?

Many sports bettors would be happy to make 50 units per month, so 400 in 6 weeks isn't to be sniffed at.

Yes I agree. But you are missing the fact Fender did this over and over on other forums too. Then he was eventually banned. I am just enforcing the ban, PLUS he was doing it AGAIN.

As for him being CEH, the IP address is in the same locality. That means they likely share the same zip code. The same ISP and all. An ISP may have 5000 IP addresses. The chances that you logon with the same ip address as before is remote. But as I recall there was an exact match between fender and CEH previously. But the accounts were deleted long ago and so were the records. Now I just have same isp, same locality. The overall picture is more than enough. But anyway he isnt banned now. I know banning him is right, but I wanted some people to learn a lesson on who the "bad guy" is. But regardless, people will either learn that here or on other forums. And when they do, fender will just create another name and start again. He has done it before, and will do it again and again. This is my point. Just that some people don't learn from it and what he is.

Like I said before, he is trying to string proper testing out for as long as possible. He does this for ATTENTION. And when he is exposed, he moves on. And again, he has done this before! that's why he was banned before!

Speed I am with you on this but I unbanned him to teach people a lesson. But it now appears clear they wouldnt learn from it anyway. If they do, looks like they will learn it on another forum that is more liberal about allowing obvious shills.

The poll is to ban him, but if it were any other member, the polls would be clearly to keep the member. It seems half know the history of fender, even if he isnt ceh, and half haven't learned yet.

I agree, but I as mod need to find the balance between free speech, and removing people who are so full of it and willingly misleading people. If you recall alabalah, he was scamming people. His free system to lure people had no merit, but he claimed was the HG. He was given AMPLE FAIR CHANCE to prove he was legit, but avoided it and failed miserably. I was beyond fair with him. He was scamming people. And just because he posted lots and gave free systems too, that clearly failed, some people believed the banning was unjustified. Tell that the the people he scammed. Fender is a different kind of fraud, who's payday is attention. To allow him is like setting the wolf on everyone and saying "you have arms. fend for yourself." Isnt it better to just lock the door to what is beyond reasonably doubt a wolf??

It is clear speed and some of you have a difference of opinion. Although there is friction between some of you and speed, I believe he is fair in what he says. He can be abrasive towards others but no more than some of you are to him. We all need to be a little kinder to each other, and I'm no different. I do tend to get fired up when I know someone is misleading people, or when people are so darn blind. But I too need to watch how I come across.

Realistically? Virtually none. But again he was not banned for having a bad system. Read back in the thread as I gave very specific reasons why he was banned.

Anyway all this is detracting from what the forum is about. Everyone should say their last piece then move on as I'll lock the thread soon. If you want to continue discussing JLs methods, so be it but please use the relevant threads.

STEVE......I just think a closure on this would be to find other recent names on this forum that had the same IP address as JL (i did ask). It would highlight what his game was...or not and help people decide, who are undecided.

I could be wrong, but I always thought he was, and I vaguely remember him admitting it. If he was then he should be banned in a heartbeat.

Anyway whether he’s banned or not he has said he won’t come back so let’s move on.

He will probably move on to Victor’s new forum, you know, the one he promised Steve he would never make, then all the JL fans will follow and the new forum will prosper then Victor will sell it to Steve then Steve will ban JL then JL will move on to a new forum, probably Victor’s, then when it grows Steve will buy it and ban JL, ad infinitum.  :o :-X ;) ;D :thumbsup:

90 miles from where I live !!!!!!

Even if JL lives in/near Brighton he isn't CEH Steve.......

1. CEH and Fender share the same ISP and locality. I recall previously that they did have exact match IP, but I can't find record of this as it was long ago and the accounts were deleted.

2. When Fender's credibility was questioned, a new member (the pilot) emerged and claimed he won something like $80,000 with Fender's system.

Now most people are not silly enough anymore to use fake names with the same IP address. So to hide their IP address, they use PROXIES.

Let's consider the IP addresses of "thepilot":

46.37.160.194 <-- PROXY from UK
174.36.203.90 <-- PROXY from USA

Ok so 100% proxies is a bit suspicious, right? So I confronted him about it. But I only mentioned the USA proxy. He claimed he used the USA proxy so he could watch streaming TV from the USA. Thats BS because watching streaming video via a proxy would be a nightmare.

But hmm ok, well WHAT ABOUT THE UK PROXY? Let me guess... streaming TV from the UK?????

Anyway since he'd been caught using proxies, he asked me to look at the other IP addresses, which are:

84.100.85.90
84.103.179.149
84.103.179.55 <--- these IPs lead to sfr.net. That site doesn't exist, and is not part of an ISP. So I found who administrates it, and it leads to sfr.com. That is not the owner though. The name server of this site is 9services.com, and this leads to the company mailclub.fr which is for domain registration. This is not an ISP. It is a web host domain registration company.  SO THE IP ADDRESSES ARE PROXIES, AGAIN.

When he asked me to look at the french IPs, I should have looked deeper. Every IP he used is a proxy.

There are the IPs so people can do their own research. And if after everything if some people still think I'm the bad guy and the JL is an angel telling the truth about his system and fantastic wins and that you should all listen to him...... then it is your own problem.

Skakus, ken was banned because he was causing conflict. He is nothing like a serial offender such as fender.

Skakus, John Gold has IPs in the same locality as CEH. 2 of them are with different ISPs, and 1 of them are with the same ISP. All in the same area except for some wireless network IPs from further north. All in the UK. Given his account raises red flags and other account names share very similar IPs, I dont think John Gold is who he says he is.

anyway there is more than enough information to draw reasonable conclusions and people can decide for themselves, check the IPs for themselves or whatever. Its time we get back to things so again everyone say your last bit and I'll lock the thread

Now most people are not silly enough anymore to use fake names with the same IP address. So to hide their IP address, they use PROXIES.

Let's consider the IP addresses of "thepilot":

174.36.203.90 <-- PROXY from USA

Ok so 100% proxies is a bit suspicious, right? So I confronted him about it. But I only mentioned the USA proxy. He claimed he used the USA proxy so he could watch streaming TV from the USA. that's BS because watching streaming video via a proxy would be a nightmare.

But hmm ok, well WHAT ABOUT THE UK PROXY? Let me guess... streaming TV from the UK?????

Anyway since he'd been caught using proxies, he asked me to look at the other IP addresses, which are:

84.100.85.90
84.103.179.149
84.103.179.55 <--- these IPs lead to sfr.net. That site doesn't exist, and is not part of an ISP. So I found who administrates it, and it leads to sfr.com. That is not the owner though. The name server of this site is 9services.com, and this leads to the company mailclub.fr which is for domain registration. This is not an ISP. It is a web host domain registration company.  SO THE IP ADDRESSES ARE PROXIES, AGAIN.

When he asked me to look at the french IPs, I should have looked deeper. Every IP he used is a proxy.

There are the IPs so people can do their own research. And if after everything if some people still think I'm the bad guy and the JL is an angel telling the truth about his system and fantastic wins and that you should all listen to him...... then it is your own problem.

Then...surprise surprise.....JL is using pilots new method of pattern breaker and claiming its better.

I sound like Jonathan Creek here (British TV crime solver show) but in fear of the straw that broke the camels back for JL in admitting the last 2 ideas were failing and switching back to pattern breaker again, after he revisited it, he invented a stooge to come in and sing its praises ...completly out of the blue.
When I say I can't believe people could be so gullable...I don't mean they didn't spot what i said above per se...(I work on "its a lie" and work up from there) but can't believe they just believed what pilot said in isolation....even if it didn't occur to them it was a JL scam and hustle.
