Why so much violence in the forums?
At times I question myself on this.
Do men have to prove something by means of disproving the others?
Is it men have an unresolved "whose's penis is bigger" issue?
No wonder there are few females in the boards. It's a men's world but it doesn't has to be a violent one. Much of the things people says to others in the forum they wouldn't say face-to-face to the same person in real life.
;D
ROFL...
EGO...
Is the answer.
They wish to be right.
Even I can get caught in the ego at times.
Or I use to.
Since my release from Hospital.
It has given me a new outlook on life.
I try to live in the NOW.
In all things.
In all situations.
Because now is all there is.
I use to get real frustrated with certain members.
And argue, try to make a point.
See my previous posts for evidence of this.
So if I have made you feel small in any way.
Let me just say, I am very sorry.
Please forgive me.
I was also working with the ego at the time.
Now, I am much more relaxed.
And try not to let the ego get in the way.
Peace to all.
There are many here and there that do nothing but firing only negative bullets
but never tried to prove their claims. You know why?????
Cause they always talk in riddle,as they are gurus of roulette.......but actually
they are the biggest scammers,as they use such LINGOS as a bait for unexperienced.
And don't ask me who they are,but from above description you can easily spot these.
They never contribute in anything,on the contrary, they are always traying to prove
you wrong,with no explanation.
Yes, I've often pondered this propensity towards violence.
My theory is this:
* humankind is fast losing the gentle art of compromise
* extremism is on the rise in all areas of human activity
* debating skills are no longer taught in schools
The result?
An increasing tendency for individuals, organisations, religions and governments to think
"There's MY way and the WRONG way..."
And when they lock horns with those who think like that as well then LOOKOUT ! Violence is so often their preferred method of conflict resolution.
No wonder there are so many wars and so much bad feeling.
Stop the world. I want to get off... (whimper)
I dont know what its like now but the BetFair (UK) Forum used to be a nightmare !
Ive not been in there for years now and I dont miss it one bit !
I think they're so negative because they haven't found a way to beat roulette, and they don't like it that others intimate or outright affirm that they have. It's a little frustrating to spend years seeking the "pot of gold" and you think others have found it and they're taking all the gold.
I think there's a "pot of gold" for everyone. No one can take mine before I get there. So, I wish the very best to everyone, and to me too.
Sounds like Thomas may have found a different kind of "Gold". It may be more important than the stuff you hold in your hand. I pray that it doesn't dissappear. It's really difficult to overcome the ego long-term.
Cheers,
George

I may have.
Who knows.
I feel better.
And have a better attitude.
I just keep trying to live in the NOW.

You are spot on Thomas. The NOW and the choices that we make in the NOW.
ââ,¬Å"Oneââ,¬â,,¢s philosophy is not best expressed in words; it is expressed in the choices one makes. In the long run, we shape our lives and we shape ourselves. The process never ends until we die. And, the choices we make are ultimately our own responsibility.ââ,¬Å" ââ,¬â€œ Eleanor Roosevelt
Take a look at this replys from the other VLSroulette forum,
THIS REPLYS ARE NOT MINE , ARE FROM NOBLE SAVAGE and

There after number 27 hits it comes black. And I am not inventing it: link:://rouletteforum.cc/bet-selection/roulette-is-not-that-random/ (link:://rouletteforum.cc/bet-selection/roulette-is-not-that-random/)
That thread is pretty newbish.
That whole forum is more of a noobfest, and no one with true genuine facts about roulette can post there because it would get deleted. They don't want to know the truth, only lie to themselves and mislead others.

Oh wow, do people really believe this stuff? I can't get over it.
More Numeris Tit-Anus scam nonsense. In fact, I have to agree with Advantage's Nob - the site is already been run by the old scammers that jumped ship when Steve took over - Thomas Grant et al. Good luck to 'em, I say. God knows they need it.

Yes...
Have a read what Spike said in this post.

For months.
I had kept an accurate diary of what I was doing.
No one bothered me.
My personal journal on using this software.
I had no complaints.
It generated a great deal of interest.
And then...
Spike and Number Six started to attack me.
Why?
Who knows.
Just glad I came here.
Sure I get members saying things against some of the posts I make.
But no where as severe as what I was treated to over at VLS.
I like what Victor told me a few weeks ago.
If they can't make something better.
Then they should shut the frak up.
But then we would not have free speech.
At least here.
We are our own mods.
Have control of who post in our posts.
Thanks Victor.
For making this forum.
::)
Ohh, and I almost forgot about this one.

People who I have helped.
Or asked me questions.
Or the members that respect what I say.
I just like to say, thank you all.

Who knows.
It's called jealousy/insecurity Thomas. There will always be individuals that can't cope with their feelings of insecurity.
Victor told me about how that Forum became
I think I only ever posted there twice or so
Ure better off out Thomas imo !
The Grass is Greener here
All,
As with any society, anonymity is a way to protect one's self and allow you to make statements and "actions" that are normally out of one's grasp.
All of these forums, and especially the typically unmoderated ones, give a sense of freedom to those who would chose to be king, at least in their own minds.
People say and do things behind the keyboard that they would never even consider in a face to face meeting.
As 90% (my own made-up statistic) of the people in a gambling forum rarely, if ever, actually gamble, it is safe to assume that most posters are merely in it for the entertainment value or some sort of thrill of being part of the "gambling culture" or something similar.
As rudeness pervades society as a whole, it's only a matter of time before people, with no adult supervision, react as any 13 year old would with bullying tactics, herd mentality and generally goofy demeanor.
Luckily for all of us, this forum is moderated nicely and the majority of the problem children are left for other forurms to deal with.
AD (how in the heck did I get in here???)

Err, surely not.
But then again.
They are your made up stats.
All the members of this forum have had a flutter or two.
That is why they are here.
To see if they can find ways to win more often.
Find strategies.
And other ideas.
Thomas,
Yes, that's why I said "...in A gambling forum..." and not " in THIS gambling forum"!!
It is obvious that most of the members who have been here for some time do actually play the game. This can't be said for many of the other forums that I read for sure.
AD (just cashed my Bet Phoenix check for this month today!)
Some enjoy arguing and name-calling.

Yes! Indeed!
I remember reading "Lord of The Flies" (Golding) as part of my tertiary training.
A case in point that adds weight to your observation.
The book neatly showed that "civilisation" is a veneer about as thick as a cigarette paper. LOL
There is a difference between fun and useful.
In the forums where the thing is entertaining, it is the less useful.
Usually the boring dialogues on probability, statistics and mathematics are the most useful for member's gambling formation, but those do not attract as much traffic as a good fight between Forum members.
Sad.

Well, that equates to BAD NEWS SELLS...
When two tribes go to war...(Frankie Goes to Hollywood)
Lots of extra unwanted publicity.
Biff, boom, bash, crash... (Batman the TV series.)
Another famous quote.
You can't please everyone.
Fight Club... (The movie.)
American TV. any time.
Violence never solved anything.
Then why is there war?
People in this forum seem to be a bit more relaxed then in other forums.
I am sure we have tiffs at times.
As people express their views.
But I have yet to see any big dramas.
Albalaha and I, fight like cats and dogs at times.
But we try to keep it civil.
Maybe men need places to gripe when they lose.
(I wonder if casino owners have the same problem?)
"I think they're so negative because they haven't found a way to beat roulette, and they don't like it that others intimate or outright affirm that they have" >>> This is 100% correct! 8) Ken
