To the best of my knowledge, Paroli means stake 1 unit on any EC, if you win you will have two units, then add 1 unit extra and bet 3 this time, if you again win, you have now 6 units total, remove your own stake of 2 units and bet 4 units for 3rd time, if you win, you will have 8 units winning. If you lose in first attempt, loss of 1 unit and your attempt restarts, but if you win first and lose in 2nd attempt, a total loss of 2 units of your own. if you lose third time, no loss.
