Title: Please take a look at this.
Post by: Let Me Win on Nov 24, 10:45 PM 2012
Hi  I have just joined after lurking here as a Guest for ages.

The reason for joining is to ask a question about the attached graph from Roulette Xtreme.

Would this be considered a promising system looking at the graph and how many times should the tests be repeated before being considered a "grail"

I set it to play the system with a starting bankroll of 500 and to stop whenever is got to  +100
The maximum bet allowed to be placed at any time was 3 units.

I don't wish to discuss the system just yet just the results please.

Here is another graph where it took less time to make + 100

Again the rules were the same and the biggest bet staked at any point was 3 units.

As I said before I am wondering how many of these tests should I run where I make + 100 without losing a 500 unit banks before it would be worthwhile getting it coded as a bot?

If it passes 1.000.000 or more spins and you are still positive, go ahead :)

You would need to win 6 sessions for every 1 lost session. So if you can maintain 6/1 on the graph we all can't see yet then your in the $$

you'd need to win 15 sessions for every 1 lost session to consider it a grail

Thanks for the replies I uploaded the graph to image shack but then it wanted me to sign up and make a free account which I couldn't be bothered with!

In any case it is not so important I was just wondering how many spins something should be tested  before starting to get excited.

I am still tweaking my idea which is based on flat betting 18 numbers every spin or playing using a little progression 1 - 2 - 3  chips per number.

It seems to me that betting 18 numbers at a time is the way to go as it is only then that the house has the smallest advantage over me.  Rather then bet all red or black numbers or all even or all odd etc I was trying out an idea that came to me while messing about with the MST software.

So I am using various systems at the same time that each pick numbers to bet on then putting them all together to form 18 numbers to bet on in total per spin.

The idea is that at worse I have a 48.65% chance of winning my bet and if any one of the systems hits a good streak I will win.

It I play $1 per number at a time then in effect 1 unit = $18 for me.
