it's rather sad than funny...
Well, my posting is basically not about this, but rather about tanks fighting in the city where they become extremely vulnerable to anti-tank weaponry. And as we see, T-72 is. Ironically an older tank like T-55 does win the fight in the last video. Frequently it is people, not the machines, are the ones who decide the outcome.
well i think this tanks only need modified reactive armor like this to be winners

i can post a video where they destroy a tank exactly like this. T-72 does have reactive armour.
but RPG-29 has dual charge against this kind of armour. FSA have them i think...

yes that weapon with good hit can destroy all tanks, but I think terrorists don't have this in large numbers
i don't know about numbers. But the thing is that any tank becomes very vulnerable inside the city between places where many fighters with anti-tank weapons can hide. And any tank after a while may be hit even with RPG-7, when it is used in large numbers. It's like roulette where u play a lot -- and finally u gotta lose no matter what. When a tank is hit by many rockets, even old ones, finally they will find a weak spot. That's what happened in Chechnya in Russia. That's what may be happening in Syria. Machinery has its limits. It's very hard to stand up in a city against
large, well trained, equipped and determined guerillia force.
Tanks in urban areas can be destroyed with simple messures, like Molotov Cocktails. As a weapon it is going to be less useful as counter weapons are effective and detection easy, providing modern stuff are available.
I feel sorry for the Syrians, the regime is secular if not democratic, west and fundamentalists in alliance real strange. It is going worse every day.
Molotov c***tails won't work with modern tanks, it's a thing of WWII, i think. At least nobody uses them anymore.
Even antitank hand grenades are not much in use since many have RPGs.
