It is a Cajun spiced *ish that is just wonder*ul!!  Served with rice and asparagus and a heavenly white, creamy sauce.

Maybe you guys don't know Cajun.  They are *rench people who settled in the Bayou country in Louisana, USA.  They are big on eating and blackened dishes are their speciality.  Blackened anything is good.  I'll bet blackened possum would be great.

Maybe you guys don't know possums!.......................

LOL

Hey Sam.  Did you try the aeresol spray can full of air?  Maybe you've just got a grain of salt under the key from the popcorn you were eating while type a post.

I love blackend catfish with hush puppies.  Yum Yum.  That's good eatin.  About the best catfish I can get here in Tucson is at The Texax Roadhouse.  It ain't bad, but it's a long ways from the catfish you can get there in OK!

Dang!  It's making almost hungry enough to take a 2 day drive there and back again.

All my family on my dad side are American. I've said it before, but my uncle bob was a Major General in the airforce. Bob sadler.
I went to USA when i was 10 (1973). I was probably the only person in my town who had been to the US.
Hillbillies and The Fonz and Kiss was all we had to go on before the internet.
It a million miles closer now.
We dont even really call you Yanks anymore.
Im sure most Americans think London is foggy all the time and we all talk like Peter Frampton.

I thought you all talked like Prince Charles Scammer, the future king!!

The Fons is selling revers mortgages to old folks; Kiss still rocks and The Hillbillies are still in re-run.

Nothing much has changed much.

Catfish is still a hit in Oklahoma.  Will be 'till the end of time.  Next time you're over, look me up.  Catfish dinner is on me.

By the way, we love Indian food.  Chicken korma and chicken tandoori!!  Paneer Kulcha.  Yum!

Sam

EDIT:  No matter what I do, I can't get "scammer" out!!  LOL

Don't forget the Indian fry bread with either chili or powdered sugar depending on whether it's dinner or desert.  Yummy!

The thing I miss the most is attending the Black Diamond Watermelon festival.  Here in Arizona, the only watermelons we get are gourd melons with no grain to the meat.  Yuk.

I also miss those Chelsea Greys you can buy along the roadside.

Darn.  Why did I ever leave Oklahoma?  I guess Will Rogers was right when he said those who leave Oklahoma raise the IQ of both places.

prince the scammer, that was a good line. Those Yankee rebels are bad to their English cousins, aren't they. Of course there is an excuse that "Chxxrlie" is programmed to come up with "scammer" in this forum.

"Manchestoor!" (spoken like Liam)  8)  I lived near Tyldesley for a while and loved listening to how the Manchester accent changed in just about every town!

And there should be a "like" button on here like Facebook so I could like your reply to Iggiv!  ;D
