Folks and people; friends and neighbors........
(Did that cover everyone??)
I recently sat before the Ophis software and tested Jl's "Pattern Breaker", which turned out to be a "Sam Breaker" as it is like waiting for the Springtime in Nome. Say it together......S L O W!!
Anyway, I noticed something. I think someone posted this as a system but I can't be sure or remember who.
Here we go.........
RBR..............it is pretty uncommon for one of those ECs NOT to form in the second line and directly below the first EC. A loser would be:
RBR
BRB
Sure it happens and it may happen more often than I think. It would be dangerous to play with a Martingale, but a split-Martingale, a D'Alembert, a Fibo or something GLC coughs up might work pretty well. Like always, you will get two or three losers in close proximity and then go for twenty or so triples without a loss.
I would pay to have this incorporated into my ExcelBot, but I'd have to buy another computer and we have five now. I feel if another computer moves in, I will have to move out.
Bear in mind, this is the Notepad.
Feedback is appreciated.
Sam
Ask Victor, about how You can split your computer screen in two, and therefore end up with 2 computers.
I'm not sure if You can use both at the same time, but he used to tell us, about a clever piece of software which basically, takes your motherboard, and makes it think its now two motherboards, and hence two computers.
You might need a bigger screen, to 'see' your bots at work, but U still keep the PC tower/base as is.
Have a word with him about it.
As for the play method.......everything is possible.....U either chance it, or progress it....the choice is urs!
cheers Sam.

I once said something like that to Stef and he asked me about the cursor. You would need two cursors working independently of each other. If anyone knows how to do this, I'd be interested.

Maybe it's time to get yourself a computer in the cloud, and run all your bots out there. I recommend Amazon Web Services (AWS)
link:://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amazon_Web_Services (link:://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amazon_Web_Services)
For your first year, there is a free tier set of services. It's like having your own computer out in the cloud, always running, 24/7...free for the first year. After some time, you will be able to calculate how much it would cost you month to month, based on how much/many service/services you are using to run your bots.
I ran a forex trading robot (in demo mode) out there for several months and was very happy with it. You connect to your computer in the cloud through a kind of remote desktop. It opens up in a window, or full screen, as you like.
AWS is popular enough that people are hiring themselves out as administrators for those user/owners who do not necessarily want to set up and maintain that virtual space.
I recommend making me an offer to set you up with AWS, get your bot(s) running in the cloud, AND program this tweak into your Excel bot.

I am so behind the curve I never knew such a thing existed. I'll mull that over.

Sam,
1. I have pattern breaker in bot-sheet form ;)
2. I have also a Virtual computer on my Win7 machine.
This runs indepently "as a 2nd computer" on your own machine, giving you the ability to let the bot run there.
And meanwhile still use your own mouse and do whatever your want without disturbing the bot in the 2nd machine.

On my new Windows 8 computer---could I run the bot on two different accounts at the same time? Two bots working on the same computer?
As to the "Pattern Breaker"---well, I just don't know if I'd tie up a computer to run it. Or even half a computer!!
Thanks for the heads up. I'll mull it over.

Here is a discussion of running multiple instances of computers on AWS free tier :

Here is a discussion of running multiple instances of a virtual machine (VirtualBox):
link:://stackoverflow.com/questions/6058293/installing-several-windows-instances-on-virtualbox (link:://stackoverflow.com/questions/6058293/installing-several-windows-instances-on-virtualbox)
Here's a quote from the latter:
"Also consider getting any old PC to run your test VMs. Put a linux distro on it and have your VMs 'headless' with remote desktop being how you get to them. In that way your machine is not going to be bogged down by 2+ VMs competing for memory, CPU etc. You can also access the remote desktop from your boss's machine if need be. This arrangement has worked really well where I work and the whole team uses the same VMs on remote desktop connections"
I ran multiple instances of a forex robot on AWS no problem. With virtual machines like VirtualBox, i have no idea how multiple instances would perform. Working with AWS instances and VirtualBox is very similar. In fact, it may even be possible to use the same .VHD (virtual hard drive) "instance" to power either platform (AWS or VirtualBox). The virtual hard drive can be copied and stored so you always have it, regardless whether your virtual space is up and running.
It would be worth a test. With the roulette bot, my understanding is that it depends on the ability to set focus on a window and read pixels. Seems to me several bots could run, as long as they all could be given focus so the pixels could be read.
EDIT: Another possible advantage of using an AWS cloud location is you can choose where you want your server to be located, and Amazon has servers all over the globe. That way, your IP can look to the Casino like it's coming from outside the U.S.. Then, you would only need to solve the money transfer issue to be able to work around the U.S. restrictions.
Funny isnt it....40 years ago we had central computers running dumb terminals as thin clients. Then "every home will have a computer" (Bill Gates in the 80's).
Now every home has 2 computers, and we are heading to central computers with dumb terminals as thin clients.
Not a lot of mulling on my original thought. I guess I was way off base.
It doesn't matter. A guy named Bayle posted the "Holy Whoopee" on Victor's forum. I'd tell you about it, but you made me mad!
>:(

The lead in my pencil broke just at the same moment that my phone cord snapped while I was looking out the window for a computer in a cloud......

I'm going to tell you a true story.
Today I saw a van driving down the road with a small, metal pole sticking about 10 feet out the back. From behind it would almost invisible. A person could drive upon it and run it through their windshield and through a person sitting in the front seat. A very dangerous situation. Had we not been late for a doctor's appointment, I would have followed them while calling for police help.
I commented to my wife, "They need a red flag taped to the end of that pole."
Two hours later, in a mall parking lot, a woman's red scarf came blowing across the parking lot.
Now, what this all means, I don't know yet. I do know there is a reason for this happening.
I have the scarf. I'm scared to throw it away.

Sam....sorry for the lack of mulling. I thought the post was about " how can i run more bots without getting another computer"
Turner
Mulling is good. I have enough bots. One more and my wife hits the ceiling. I still feel switching systems is a form of HAR. Might be wrong.

Sam, it's so clear. It's got to be a sign to play red. Of course the pole has to go through your windshield first ..... well, I thought we had something there for a minute.
Wally
I've stayed clear of poles all day!
