Title: An "End of April" TwoCat report.............
Post by: TwoCatSam on May 01, 10:40 PM 2013
OK, I'll admit it-----I'm bored!!  So I bloviate!!  Read at your own peril!

"What has ol' TwoCat been up to?", I hear you asking.  Well, I'm running bots right and left.  Seriously!  I have three computers going:  One I'm typing on and one on either side running bots.  I am doing quite well.

I am jumping from one system to another.  A type of HAR, in my opinion.  It works surprisingly well.

I know I started some test threads and I abandoned  them.  Seems every time I posted something good, my system tanked!!  But all the systems are still under evaluation. L V F, Ball Drop and others.

I learned something about computers.  I bought a new Gateway and it would not run the bot.  Seems it had a bias against the bot and could not be made to run it.  I took it back and bought an HP and it works great.  Don't be afraid of Windows 8.  It's 7 with a bunch of junk you have to bypass.  But it's a fast mother-goose!  So I have five--count 'em--five computers, four or which will run the ExcelBot.

I am still betting at the .05 level and have made over 20 Euro today.  If BV would just not cut me off all the time, I could do better.  Correction: the bots could do better.

Neither of the programs is mine.  I've met a fellow much smarter than I and I'm running his.  Nope!  Can't name him under penalty of death or worse.  I'm a little sad his stuff is so much better than mine, but that's life in the fast lane.

So why did he share this with me?  Beats me.  I did a good deed for a lady a couple of weeks ago and she offered--while crying--to pay me.  I told her it would come back to me.  Karma!

Well, that's it in a big ol' nutshell.

"If BV would just not cut me off all the time"

I know it's not quite the same as connection problems but this is my big problem with Dublinbet. The new layout includes a play time reminder which chimes in around the hour mark, not exactly one hour, any time between 60 and 76 minutes so far. If you don't respond the bot can't play and you're logged off eventually. Kind of defeats the point of a bot.

I think this is more aimed at bots than player welfare, player protection would be better served by " you have lost x amount of money, do you want to continue?".

Some changes in the layout, and the bot must be recoded!  At the old layout at DB we could tip, have not found that on the new.
It would be easy stop most bots by often changing the layout a fraction, there the winning numbers show. It is not common, so the bots is not regarding a problem for the casinos. Specially roulette, which not is a skill game. A bot will never change the casinos profits to the less.
Some casinos do not like a bot running and bet less than 1% of the spins, using a reinvented method, as wait for 16 red, and start a 1 cent marty.  I have connection problems in manual playing as well, but more often when use the bot, it goes faster most of the time, and it may be the only reason.

The time BV has connection problems, it is a risk we lose money, as the bet on the table will not allways be refunded.
I have had bets and been waiting for 15 minutes for the ball to fall. If the bets are cent I just restart the game.

When it used to get stuck with current spin at BV and you have chips down....I would take screen snap shot and send to BV support.
Always got the money credited back into playing account.
BV has always had connection issues........such a pain.

Charlie

Did that help?

Ralph

I had no idea they sometimes kept the bet on the table.  I will check for that.  Anyway you slice it, it's a fight to get a skin out of them!

Thanks, guys.
