Title: About negative and positive progressions.
Post by: Ralph on May 08, 04:40 AM 2013
Very few will consider a martingale progression will work, and winning for longer time. Any betting system will suffer from the house advantage which is on an EC like flipping a dollar and get 0.96 back on a win, lose 1.00 on a loss. In a very long run the odds will make the player lose, under normal casino rules.

We have NoZ wheels there the variance is which make win or loss.

If we compare martingale and the reverse martingale, we can say the casino play the opposite as the player, and it is on NOZ equal chance to win.

If we put a chip on red (NoZ), we can say the bank put a chip on black, and the winner gets both bets. If the player use negative progressions, she put 2 chips if the last using one lose. That is like the casino parlay the previous win (forced by the player).
This going on and as long the player wins, the casino lose the parlays. At the time the player hits the table limit or can not bet more due to it is lack of funds, the casinos parlay was hitting. The casino has lost 1 chip and the player won one chip until the player bust.

If the player use positive progression, the player force the casino to use negative progression, as as before it is like the casino bet the opposite, and can not chose which EC it is betting on. The casino can not chose when to start and when to stop.

Every time a trial fail for the player the casino wins one unit from the player, and the casino lose much when reaching the table limit or the limit decided by the player.

Can we from this conclude, it is better to force the casino to martingale using negative progression?

It would depend on your bankroll and how much you are planning to win each session. If u wan bigger profits go positive if you want fast slow profits go negative.
