There is this famous question.
Perhaps you may have heard of it.
So here it is.
If a tree falls in a forest.
Does it make a sound?
BRUCE COCKBURN - If A Tree Falls (link:://:.youtube.com/watch?v=W8CibAuvZM4#)
It's one of those questions that really has no answer.
I mean what if your deaf?
How do you know if there is sound?
The only way is through vibration.
I heard about this question for some time.
There could be a tree falling in the forest right now.
Does it make a sound when it falls?
If no one is there to hear it?
1. How do you know if the tree fell?
2. If no one was there. The what proof do you have that the tree fell?
3. And if it did fall. And no one was there. How do you know it made a sound?
It could of hit grass, or fell slowly.
Just don't know how to answer this question.
Perhaps someone else may.
Dr Doolittle knows...and according to him trees do make a sound when falling in the forest. :o
I dont see why the noise would be any different if someone were there or not ?
