Running the bot on two computers, playing .05, won over 55.00 Euro.

 ;D  Excellent Sam.
Nice work.

What was biggest draw down position/progression level (if U can tell us that is)
.and..............
I guess the ultimate question.............what would happen if U moved onto 0.10 bets?

Chris

I do not believe that raising the bet matters as long as you double the bankroll.  My draw downs were insignificant.  One was around 1.65 and the other was around 20 Euro.

Soon I will go to a dime and let you know.

Some day, Lord willin' and the tornadoes don't get me, I hope to go to a dollar/Euro.

I know U love your roulette Sam, and U use the word "insignificant".......
but there is a world apart between 1.65 (which = 0.05 x 33)
and 20.00 (which is 0.05 x 400)

That would be some drawdown if plotted on a graph!
I remember one of my designer bets (I think it was Bis101, which played the repeater game), had a max drawdown of around 21Euro playing with 0.01 (the good old days when You could bet a penny on BV NoZero RNG game!)

those were the days!! ha ha!

I just wanted to put those figures into perspective, and not give critic to your bot play Sam...just noting the scale of things!!
Maybe your bots need "Trend Analysis" in their engines!
(Its something I'm working on!)

Having said all that, 50E is good going at the 0.05 level for sure. Keep it up Sam!

Charlie

I put in 50E to start the play.  I look and see 30 in the game account and I just don't worry.

Just for fun, I started another system.  I am up 7 Euro and my dd is 2.8.

It could go South any minute--I know that.  It has happened to me about a hundred times.

I never make Jl statements.  I usually say "time will tell".

I have four accounts with money in them.  I have not deposited since early January.  Some are up; some are down.

For the first time in years, I am--at least--holding my own.

For now......

Ok I use 0.05 as well, but the average bets use to be some more.

Sam!
Did you won the 50 Euro in the last step of a hefty progression! ;D
Title: Re: A TwoCat Ramble........

Ralph

No, the progression is not too bad.  I think I went down around 50 Euro at one time.  I know I had 50 in the account and I had to put in 20 more to cover the bet.  From there it went straight up to profit.

About was I said!  We use to have a downdrown (at worse) which is more than the win!  The bankroll is the defender. Likely we survive if we can match a down larger than the up.

I like the picture of your gamble place. I hope it is in the basement, so not the tornado's get it!

Chris

Had to rob a battery for the camera!!

Ralph

No basement, sir!  But honestly, no way to keep tornadoes away.  They have tremendous suction.  I mean they can lift an 18-wheeler fifty feet into the air.  They can suck your house off the basement and then you out of it.

Few places are truly safe.

Debris from a tornado may be carried miles.  Hundreds of miles.  In 1947 a tornado hit Woodward, Oklahoma and a small baby girl dropped out of it.  She is buried there.  They have no idea where she came from, but it was somewhere in Texas--a few hundred miles away.

Today is my day to bloviate.  I'll bet you guys will be glad when the sun comes out and I go back to yard work!!

DID NOT WANT TO START A NEW THREAD....

Two people have asked me how I’m doing.  Am I still wining?  The answer is both yes and no.  I am winning a very little and I’m not doing well.  I am beginning to ask two questions:  Is it worth it?  Is this still fun?  Frankly, I have not decided.

Bet Voyager made some changes recently and the ExcelBot will no longer work.  Rumor has it that it will soon be fixed and re-released in a new and improved form.

During the lull, I’ve been working with another bot builder who shall remain anonymous.  I am testing some of his ideas on SmartLive with real money.  I went from $100 to over $300 and the tide turned against me.  I lost down to $75.00, which is into my deposit.  Not good.

Using my “Ball Drop” I went up $500 and then the tide turned against me.  I only lost $200 of that win, so I’m still in the black there.

The most discouraging thing I’ve found:  I was playing at a casino that accepts Americans.  I was told they’re crooked.  I decided to withdraw $100 of my winnings to see what would happen.  While I only asked for $100 they refunded everything I’d put in and charged me a $100 withdrawal fee.  That’s right--$100.  So I guess he was right!

So all the money I won at that casino with the “Easy Peasy” system went to pay for the withdrawal fee.  They’re in Cyprus, so not much one can do about it.

On line gaming is coming to America in November.  They have until the end of June to file their applications and until the end of July to name their on line partner.  When that is approved, it will happen.  New Jersey should have some good regs in place to protect users from rip offs like the one above.

Don’t know how much longer I’m willing to ride this roller coaster.  I’ve pretty much learned not to get excited about wins.  Seems random always rears his ugly headâ€"sooner or later.

I’ve tested more things than I can count and I know one thing:  Everything moves in waves just like the tides.  Highs and lows.  Makes no difference what you’re doing, there is zero consistency.  Therein lie both the problem and the solution.

Luv the fact you have summed up roulette in less words than a T-Shirt Slogan !!!!!

Which "tide" to play when to swap etc etc etc......

I don't know the answers, but I do think  they are the right questions.......

Bv has changed some strategic pixels in the layout, which killed many bots.  It is possible to rewrite the code, but they can if they like much faster stop a bot than any can code. My reading of the balance was 10000 lines.

I think may be reading shapes are little more robust than reading colors, at least they have to make changes which is visible for the eyes.

They do not direct dislike we use a bots, but they do not like a bot placing 100000 of dummy bets and a few real bets. Very common methods waiting for 10 or more EC before starting a martingale from 1 to 5 cents. A lot of such bots put demand on theire system for very little play.

I was aware of this problem, and gave it free.
