Title: Editing in Forum
Post by: Chrisbis on May 31, 08:29 PM 2013
I notice the same editing problem (ie. size, and Font changed without request)
in this Forum, as in the other place we visit.

How can that be, unless there is a connection?  or is it just co-incidence?

and here is a prime example!
Back- space in the Post box, and the script goes all-to-cokk.

Chris, see the blow arrow in the red brackets in the icons when creating a post. This should toggle on/off what you are explaining. If you still have this problem, let me know and I'll look into it further

This is a test.
I found the "Blow" arrow! (He meant Blue), in the red square brackets.
Its the last Icon on the Posting page, just above the "Love" smiley.

Lets see what happens, if I edit this line.........

That worked ok.....
And this one?

Problem still exists after toggling.
Tho it seems font size change occurs in both views, tho less in this view

I just wondered, what "View" are we toggling from and two?

Why 2 views of a post, unless one is 'as-is' and the other is with codes showing?

Why to views?

One 'as-in'
One with all codes showing?

Hi Chris,

The connection is simple: we both use the same forum engine, SMF (SimpleMachinesForum)

As to the fix, it should come from "upstream".
