As I play year after year, more WHAT IFS pop into my head.
Lets say we agree on a 20% win goal, then quit. My issue is >> what unit sizes should we base that on? Lets take a 1K BR. One guy uses $5 units on the outside bets and the other guy uses $40 units on the inside. So does the 20% RULE apply equally to both guys?
Should BR and unit size and WHERE (inside or outside) we are betting, have anything to do with win goal?
Ken

I don't think so. It would be considerably easier for the inside bets guy to get to +20% than the outside bets guy. A more realistic goal for the outside would be +5%--even with a progression.
Welcome back Mr. J. :) Hope your mother is doing well.

my condolence
Hi Ken,
Welcome back.
I've given up on win goals and stop losses for the time being. Now I just play until I've had enough or it's time for dinner or whatever.
Chasing win goals is like chasing rainbows... you can chase all day and the rainbow disappears before you get there.
Sometimes it's nice to just win a little and go for a drink.
Cheers.
I'll be DEAD HONEST........I believe, *WHEN TO QUIT*, is the most IMPORTANT topic we can discuss. Its ALMOST as important as.....bet selection.
