As you may be aware there has been a lot of hype in the courts surrounding the legality of online gambling in South Africa. Due to the recent ruling in the Pretoria High Court, we have been closely monitoring all these events.

As it happens, leave to appeal to the Supreme Court of Appeal was granted on Friday 3rd September 2010. This means that the judge who granted the original judgement is of the view that another judge may come to a different conclusion.
You will have noticed that we recently suspended activity at African Palace Casino whilst we awaited the outcome of the application for leave for appeal. Irrespective of the fact that this leave for appeal was granted, we have decided to permanently suspend all casino activities at African Palace Casino until the highest court in South Africa makes a final decision regarding the legality of online gambling in South Africa for South African players.
If you are from South Africa and wish to have your current casino balance withdrawn, please request your withdrawal at the cashier. Our cashier department will have your withdrawal processed within 48 business hours. By the looks of it, problem is still unresolved. I logged in to African Palace Casino quickly, and the same message comes up...
Our justice system in South Africa is a bit slow :-X I don't expect this issue to be resolved quickly!!!
