Title: Grinder's Progression...(I was able to profit even with a "cold" number")
Post by: RouletteKnight on Oct 26, 04:07 AM 2013
I do not claim this is a "holy grail", but I was able to use this progression to win even with a "cold" number. A number that appeared less than norm. Okay, what I did was I used random.org's random integers (A site very good for generating roulette numbers).
I chose integers 0 to 36 and generated a column of those numbers. I then copied this entire column of numbers into excel spreadsheet. Using CTRL+F, I was able to find a cold number which was 16.

I applied this progression to this number and generated a profit of 64 units after 1348 spins. The number 16 appeared 29 times, I divided 1348 (total spins) by the 29 and got 46.379. Keep in mind the average number appears 1 in every 37 spins, while this number 16 appeared 1 in 46.379 spins (and I was able to profit despite this fact).

Pros of this system: progression was able to recover and profit after 1000+ spins even with a "cold" number. I believe anyone can see the benefits of such a system.

Cons: time consuming, may not be practical (I took 1000+ spins to recover), large drawdown (I believed largest drawdown was -375 units at one point). However, keep in mind this is a "cold" number, nothing is stopping you from playing all 37 numbers with this progression (If you can keep track of it all), there's bound to be some "hot" numbers, and the profit mainly comes from those.

Now to the progression (nothing complicated, choose a number and anytime that number comes up check whether if you have profited from when you first started or you make a loss, if you make a loss go to next step of progression).

1st step of progression:
bet 1 unit on a number for 35 spins, bet 2 units for another 35 spins , 3 units for another 35 spins, 4 units for another 35 spins....and so on, you get the idea...

2nd step of progression:
bet 1 unit for 34 spins, bet 2 units for 34 spins, bet 3 unit for 34 spins...

3rd step of progression:
bet 1 unit for 33 spins, bet 2 units for 33 spins, bet 3 units for 33 spins...

4th step of progression:
bet 1 unit for 32 spins, bet 2 units for 32 spins, bet 3 units for 32 spins...

and so on...

You get the drift, anything the number comes up check if overall did you win compared to when you started the FIRST PROGRESSION. So just keep track that before you started the first progression, treat your net overall as zero. Anytime the number you chose comes out, find your NET OVERALL, to see whether its POSITIVE or NEGATIVE.

if positive, keep the profit and restart the whole sequence again and go back to the first progression.

if  negative, go to the next step of the progression and reduce the number of spins by 1 according to the above...and so on till you get a POSITIVE OVERALL...

Good Luck  ;D

And if anyone is willing to test long time and see how it holds up, please do so because I believe this is a pretty interesting progression...

So, if i am to play 10 numbers, i could average a profit of, let's say, 640 units per 1,348 spins? Not bad! That would yield an average of  .5 units or so per spin. Do i have this right?

Here is a link for a similar method.

negative 3K+ is not the biggest problem if you play in small bets like 10cents or 1 cent. If it can cover the -3000 units it's good in my books.  ;)

I have though 2 questions. What happens if you reach a very late part of the progression? I mean. It is mentioned that it made profit after 1348 spins. What could have happened to the bankroll (even the really small I mentioned) if these 1348 spins were in much bigger bets and not the beginning of the progression. If you had to profit after 1348 bets (bad streak from hell) with EACH bet being at 20-30 units. That could hurt any wallet even in cents. :P

And my second question... What you bet after if you have reached the 35th step of the progression suggested and you make a win in that step but not having new high to restart from step1?

35th step of progression:
bet 1 unit for 1 spins, bet 2 units for 1 spins, bet 3 units for 1 spins...   WIN but not restart

36th step?
bet 1 unit for 0.5 spins? This coud be transalted as 2 units for 1 spin, 4 units for 1 spin etc?
